Koh Kood Beach Resort

Excellent location, beautiful (small) white sand beach on a turquoise sea with splendid tropical fish, magnificent pool, excellent restaurant by the sea, charming 'Balinese' villas on a vast coconut palm-filled property, very accommodating staff, scooter rentals, all offering excellent value for money, with a fishing village 100m away for small shops and simple dining. My only complaint: the air conditioning was too noisy… I think we'll make the same choice if we return to Koh Kood, which is a marvelous tropical island.

Excellent hotel. We've stayed here twice already and have booked it again for November. The beach is small but sufficient. The pool is fantastic. The bungalows are comfortable. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, and the sunsets are out of this world! The restaurant serves delicious food. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but everything is very tasty. There are 2-3 hot dishes and 2-3 side dishes, along with vegetables, fruits, and eggs prepared in any style, including omelets with various fillings. They offer cheese (4 types of excellent cheese) and ham. There's a variety of pastries (croissants, biscuits, waffles, pancakes) with jams, condensed milk, and chocolate. The coffee is decent. The staff is very attentive. On the beach, there are kayaks and paddleboards available. The low tides aren't a big deal. There are hardly any restaurants in the vicinity, just one in the neighboring hotel. You can rent scooters right at the hotel. I recommend it!

A very beautiful hotel with its own private bungalows, in Thai style, with stone-lined showers and toilets in the open air. At night, you can see the stars. The beach is small, so if you're looking for a long, wide beach, this isn't the place for you.

The room was very spacious and clean with all amenities, a large bay window to enjoy the sunrise from bed, a terrace overlooking palm trees and the sea, magnificent sunsets, a swimming pool, and excellent food. The small, secluded sandy beach is well laid out, and there are plenty of fish just a few meters away among the rocks, perfect for snorkeling. A truly excellent establishment with very professional staff.
