I want to send my warmest recommendations to Kerala where we stayed last week. It is a cozy little place located at the best beach at Koh Samet. It is much more quite than the other beaches we visited and the water is calm which together with the swimming pool makes it perfect for small kids. You can use the kayaks and SUP board for free when you stay there and it is really beautiful to sail in the sunset. The people who work there are all extremely friendly. The rooms are basic but fine - Make sure to order the rooms with balcony and beach view. The only downside is that the prices at Ao Prao beach in generel are high for food and drinks. We will defintely come back and think it is great value for money for the room rates compared to the location. Thanks for a wonderful stay 🙏🏼

We watched the sun set from here every evening it was beautiful, the cocktails are amazing, the food is good and good price. I would like to say thank you to noom and Ann for looking after us so well they are so happy and friendly and very efficient, we came one evening and neither of them were there and it did not run that well. Loved the vibe here to 💜

We had a couple of meals here, great burgers, one of the best fruit shakes on the island, lovely spot to sit along the beach. Not sure why they other reviews about the restaurant are so bad, people around us were enjoying their food and drinks too.

My husband & I stayed here for 8 nights, we cannot recommend this hotel enough (although would like to keep it to ourselves 😆) The room was perfect with the most amazing views, breakfast was included & really good. We loved the place so much we didn’t really leave the resort for the whole time. But if you do want to explore the island a taxi or moped is a good idea & very reasonable. We ate in the hotel restaurant with our toes in the sand every night, the food was outstanding & very good value. Cocktails were a pleasure too. What can we say about the staff they were wonderful, didn’t get all their names but a special mention to Ann & Ya, but they all made our stay special, thank you guys. The only slight negative ( and I mean slight) is they are having some building work going on at present, but when you are in such an amazing place, you can easily chill & tune out. Hope to return one day soon 😁

Not quite sure why it’s listed as “Lima” on here when I stayed it was “Kerala” but staff are lovely and it’s beautifully placed on the beach with a lovely pool and restaurant. The rooms are basic and small but good value for money. It does seem to be in an area that sadly keeps the smell of fuel from the beach fire dances which isn’t nice to eat to.

We stayed in the resort nextdoor and had our last dinner at Ketala restaurant… terrible. Long wait (over an hour), appetizer came after the main courses. Final maincourse 40 minutes after the first. No compensation offered. Very poor quality food.

Regarding the restaurant: we asked for non-spicy dishes. Unfortunately the dishes were so spicy that the taste of the ingredients was completely hidden. Completely erratic service as well. This is the only criticism of our trip as all restaurants are generally excellent.

The room was small but clean and comfortable, the beach was beautiful, and the food was delicious. We were very unlucky, there was an oil spill on the mainland when we went. When we woke up in the morning, we saw oil all over the beach, so we immediately booked the Lima Coco Resort on Koh Chang. The staff at the resort were very nice and helped us get here smoothly. We also got a voucher that can be used on the same day. All in all a very nice resort, it's a shame we couldn't stay longer.

Located in the middle of two very expensive tourist areas, Lima Coco Resort offers you a piece of paradise without breaking the bank. If you want to visit Koh Samet, you will definitely choose this hotel. I have been to Seths Beach and other beaches but this is the best beach in this resort. The water here is very clear and clean. You can swim with the little fishes. If you don't have enough money, you can choose a standard room, or a beach room is also recommended. The beach is only a few steps away from the lounge. There is a barbecue night on Saturday. You can bring your own utensils or go to Sethos Beach where they have everything. You can enjoy the fireworks while having dinner, but the tea is too expensive. After dinner, you can take the car back to Lima Coco Resort. That place is really nice, I really recommend it. Quiet, clean, perfect. The only thing that annoyed me was that just after we spent 37.5 yuan to hunt for treasure, government workers arrived. He said we needed to pay extra because the island has become a heritage reserve. For Thais, walking around here is free. But they can't change this situation.
