Beach Republic, Koh Samui

It was a hotel in a very quiet area, blending in with nature. Anyway, we think that it is good for person who wants to spend quietly. It is a reasonable hotel in terms of cost, but the service and facilities were far from what I expected, which was a disappointing result. Only one small pool. Breakfast was displayed as a buffet, but you can choose from 3 types of breakfast menus. The bathtub in the room had rusty brown water. The drainage is bad and the bathtub cannot be used. Room service must be ordered by 8pm. I asked for toilet paper, but it seems that it was insufficient and I was handed kitchen paper. I was asked to carry a suitcase, but it was handled roughly and the tires broke. I didn't think I would stay there again.

Looks more like an apartment complex than a 4 star hotel. The reception is tiny, open only from 10-8, the rest of the time they ask you to contact via WhatsApp if you have questions, but they do not respond to messages. The rooms are large, they have everything that is stated. There is a kitchenette, dishes, you can cook crabs))). A very large terrace with sun loungers, after lunch there is sun on it, you can sunbathe. The rooms are not cleaned unless you catch the maid and ask for it. There is no shower gel, small shampoo was only given on the day of arrival. The room was booked and paid for for 3 people, but upon arrival we were offered an extra bed for 1200 baht per night, but since the room had a huge sofa, we expected to put the child to sleep on it and asked for linen. When we asked, we were first told ok, then not ok, but 500 baht per night, which is also strange considering that there is no cleaning or replacement of linen or towels every day. I had to buy underwear. 3 breakfasts were included in the stay, but the rest is provided for 2. Breakfast is not a buffet, but a la carte. The minimum choice is suitable for 1 time but not for every day. What I personally didn’t like the most is that the hotel area doesn’t seem to be treated for insects at all. On the way to the cafe and to the beach there are a lot of dried worms lying around!!! There are caterpillars crawling on the breakfast terrace, I can’t see them, they’re crawling from all sides, how can you relax and have a cup of coffee here?! There is no beach.... Rocks... If you swim, then only in a small pool, but after their attitude to cleanliness, the pool is also questionable. In general, out of the 4 days spent at the hotel, we didn’t use the sea and the pool even once, we had breakfast once. Without a means of transportation, it’s better not to stop there at all, the location is very bad. The feeling that they are saving on absolutely everything and all that is available are the remnants of former luxury, because the hotel was once listed!
