What a gorgeous resort. I love my room, the beach, the sea, the food, breakfast & staff were really great. Special mention for Cathy of Reception - wonderful guest service. Also the staff in the restaurant at breakfast - always so warm. No regrets picking this resort in Choengmon albeit being on the pricier side. Many restaurants nearby, just outside the hotel. There's a 7-11 & a pharmacy right infront. I love everything about this resort. I had the best stay ! Made my first solo trip such a memorable one !

Wonderful experience at Royal Muang Samui Villas. The private pool villa was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We loved the small daily surprises from the hotel such as chocolates and cakes such a thoughtful touch that made our stay memorable. Breakfast had a wide variety and tasted great. We will definitely return again on our next trip to Samu

This is my second stay here, the first being 13 years ago, and it hasn't changed a bit over all these years. The hotel is excellent in every aspect. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Koh Samui, without any hesitation.

The room facilities are a bit dated, but that's a minor point. There's a dedicated staff to deliver luggage, and they don't demand tips, which is nice. The front desk also has Chinese-speaking staff, which is very helpful. There's a Chinese restaurant right across the road from the hotel, perfect for Chinese palates. The sand on the beach is incredibly white and fine, like flour. Right next door is the popular '网红洞穴spa' (internet-famous cave spa). Our room had direct access to an outdoor pool, which is absolutely picture-perfect. At night, the sky is full of stars, super healing. Highly recommended!

Very lovely hotel. We got the luxury suite. Very big and we got a balcony. They also give us the anniversary note. So it was nice

The reception staff are absolutely fabulous. Rooms andfacilities are a tad dated but beautiful Thai feel. Unfortunately the staff on the beach are rude especially the young guy. Food is also average much better nearby

Our recent stay at the Royal Mueang Samui Resort was nothing short of spectacular, offering a perfect blend of serene opulence and vibrant tropical life. From the moment we arrived, the resort’s beautiful setting captivated us, nestled within a lovely, protected harbour that ensured calm, swimmable waters and a profound sense of tranquility. The property itself is a masterpiece of Thai design, with lush, manicured gardens leading to a deep, inviting pool area and a pristine, clean beach dotted with comfortable chaise lounges. It was the ideal spot to unwind with a book or simply listen to the gentle waves. Our room was a haven of quiet luxury, providing a peaceful retreat after days filled with sunshine. The facilities are top-tier, but what truly elevates the experience is the staff. Incredibly attentive and genuinely warm, they anticipated our needs with a smile, making us feel truly valued. The resort also masterfully balances relaxation with entertainment. We particularly enjoyed the fun weekly BBQ night on the beach, where a dazzling fire show lit up the palm-fringed sky, complemented by talented live singers who created a magical atmosphere. Dining was a consistent delight. The sumptuous breakfast buffet offered an astounding variety of international and local dishes, setting us up perfectly for the day. A highlight was arranging a romantic dinner on the beach—an unforgettable experience of exquisite food with sand between our toes. For a change of pace, a short stroll placed us amidst plenty of local shops and cafes, though the resort’s allure often made it hard to leave. The Royal Mueang Samui is a rare find—a peaceful, luxurious sanctuary that also knows how to have a little fun. We left feeling utterly pampered and are already dreaming of our return.

Staff were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to also remember my preferred breakfast drink! The room and amenities were exactly as advertised and felt luxurious. Make sure you use the shuttle service to save you taxi/ Grab fees in Koh Samui.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and shady. It's right on the beach. The room is very large but a bit old. If they renovated the rooms, it would be absolutely perfect.

We stayed at the hotel for our honeymoon and it was perfect! The facility is well maintained, the private beach is amazing and the service is always with a smile! We will definitely return! 🙏🏻❤️

Lovely hotel!!! One of the best in Samui for sure. We will be back. In the peak season with lots of customers, we feel secluded, calm and relaxed after a week staying i. The Center of Chaweng.

The hotel is nice and clean. We were lucky with quiet neighbors, so we slept really well. Breakfast was decent, with daily variety and a great selection of jams. The staff was friendly, cleaning was done daily, and the garden was beautiful.

It’s a nice hotel at Choeng Mong beach. Prefect for families with kids, sea is very quite here. Hotel has an interesting design. Room is big and have space to work. Bathroom is very big. Selection of food at breakfast is very big! Highly recommend!
