Book a garden view room. But the accommodation has been upgraded to have a sea view. without adding any costs Cheap rooms At a price in the early thousands But there is a bathtub provided. The room is clean, spacious, complete with amenities, delicious food, but the air conditioner isn't that cool. Maybe because the room is big too. This accommodation is suitable for people who really want to relax. because it is quiet and also next to the beach You can sit and eat on the beach. There is a sweet corner, suitable for couples. Most tourists are foreigners. The employees are smiling, polite and attentive to customers.

I really liked my two nights here. The service was impeccably friendly and helpful, and the cost per night was veey reasonable. The location was excellent, being right on the beach and only a short walk from the nightlife in Lamai. It was also far enough away that there was virtually no noise pollution. Overall, I would stay here again!

We spent 5 nights here in March, and really loved it. Sand Sea is towards the northern end of Lamai Beach. Its quiet here (which I like), but the centre of Lamai with plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and massage places is also just 10 minutes away (walking distance). So perfect location. The resort has different room categories, in a beautiful tropical garden. All the rooms seem great, the main difference is the location. We had 2 Royal Suite Beach Front bungalows, right on the beach. Absolutely fantastic ! The sea is just infront of you, and when you sit on the nice and big balcony, you can enjoy the view of the beach, the sea, the palm trees and hear nothing but the waves (and sometimes unfortunately during the day, jet-skies - but that not Sand Seas fault, as they dont rent those noisy things). The bungalows are comfortable and with everything you need, and very well kept. They are "Koh Samui style", which I like. I dont want a very modern room here, that wouldnt fit. The restaurant is open-air and also right on the beach. Breakfast is a good buffet. For lunch and dinner, you can choose western (which we didnt try) and tasty thai dishes, at very reasonable prices. Several times a week, there is a special dinner, like a seafood BBQ (which was very tasty). There is also a cocktail party once a week, where you get snacks and cocktails, can chat with other guests and with staff (even the manager joined the party). Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a pool, which we didnt use. The pool is surrounded by a fake grass carpet, which is something I hate. But as we didnt use the pool, we didnt mind. The only negative thing is not Sand Seas fault and I guess its everywhere on Koh Samui: sadly there is a lot of garbage in the sea. Glass and plastic bottles, plastic bags, flip flops, aluminium cans, lighters and much more. For us its unpleasant, for the fish and other population of the sea, its very harmful.

The pictures on the homepage are probably 10 years old. We were initially accommodated in a bungalow on the beach which was very small and the bathroom smelled bad. After one night we were able to move to the main building in a spacious room with 2 bathrooms. The whirlpool is covered and cannot be used. The staff is very friendly, they take care of things, they make things possible - the staff makes the hotel beautiful. Otherwise the hotel is showing its age and needs to be renovated.

From the outside, the hotel looks well-kept. But there is rust everywhere, and brown rusty water comes out of the water pipes. We complained every time! Then a cleaning lady came and left the water running for a long time, but that hardly helped! The staff are very helpful and friendly! Unfortunately, we have to say that we will not be going to this hotel again!

It Is difficult to choose a right place when we don't know the place yet. We booked a Garden view Villa, but it was huge. A bit of old fashioned shower area. But don't worry, we are in a tropical garden. Our stay was great. A clean swimming pool, Direct access to the spotless beach. Friendly And polite staff members. Overall satisfaction: Yes.Yes.

Woow what a Nice hotel! Im really impressed. Was here 2015 and they now have renovated it to five star standard. It is my birthday and The upgraded my room To a deluxe bungalow. Im so grateful and moved. With a birthday cake made out of towels on the bed among with flowers and balloons. Staff is Great and really good food in The restaurant! Location directly on Lamai beach.

I'll start with the staff: well done!!! they are kind, helpful, smiling, efficient! In short, the rating I give is essentially dedicated to them. the location is very good, on the beach. very nice to have breakfast on the beach. breakfast has a wide choice of savory dishes as well as fruits, yogurts, cereals, juices…. there really is something to find happiness. the rooms…. ah….. we were lucky enough to have 3 different ones: first 2 days upgraded to a sea view bungalow. good! a little dated but hey… ok. following this we had the room that we had reserved at the base: beautiful and large clean room, well decorated, in the main building, sea view. private whirlpool bath. but THE AIR CONDITIONING sounded like an airplane engine! I’m really not exaggerating! set at minimum speed, with earplugs still impossible to sleep. and so powerful that we felt like we were being hit by the mistral all night long. this has never happened to us in 20 years of traveling to different countries. ESPECIALLY do not take the rooms in the main building. we complained to the staff who told us that since the building's air conditioning system was old, it was like that in all the rooms in the main building. However, they found a solution for us the next morning by offering us a bungalow on the 3rd line. the room was large enough with a small terrace. room also a little dated but hey… nothing to complain about. so everything would be perfect if a good renovation job was undertaken. but really I come back to the staff whom I thank from the bottom of my heart for their kindness

Once again everything is fine. Best location in Lamai, not in the crowded beach area, but still within easy walking distance of everything. Always happy to go there.

Fabulous hotel with the friendliest staff. We had a cottage right on the beach, small but fine for two people. Breakfast was excellent .

The resort is really in a great location - it's a 5-minute walk to the night market and also great for other things to do! However, the facility is a little old, but that's not necessarily a bad thing - you can see it in one corner or another! The sea here is a little changeable but on the dirtier side, there are of course nicer beaches here! Otherwise, great beach promenade for a walk!

It was my first time to check in. When I first arrived, I was told that the room type I booked was not available (I booked it more than 3 months ago). I was assigned to a room that did not look like it was provided to guests (it was very small and dark). It happened to be It was my husband's birthday, so I was very angry and disappointed. After fighting for it, they helped us change to another room (still not the room type we originally booked, which was cheaper). After staying for one night, we changed back to the room type we originally booked. Fortunately, everyone The service staff have very good attitudes and smiles on their faces, which makes this holiday more enjoyable~
