"British solo backpacker, 30 years old. Very clean hostel/hotel. Breakfast between 6:30-10am included in stay. Very quiet hostel no music no party hostel, however just a minor noise from neighbours, they have roosters and chickens which start from 6am till 11am Has been a problem with my stay due to me having an ear infection from scuba diving and being on antibiotics. But have had spoken to trip.com and have supported my stay and been very helpful. It’s a 20 minute walk to knock out gym and 25 minutes to the PEIR.. 45 minutes to the main strip. It is walkable. But scooters are 200baht a day. There is a laundromat next door to hotel and two 7- elevens close by. Few good restaurants. Plus the hostel does a scuba diving course with padi the team and instructors are amazing. They also have so much happening in the day. They have beach clean up in the morning. They have drop off and pick up services to the beach from 1:30-4 and then sunset drop off and pick up from 5:30-7pm every day. You go to a new place every day. It is really cool they also have other activities. Overall I had a great time meeting people here, but it is very far away. It is clean not a party hostel but just the neighbours roosters and chickens and bonfire are a problem."

"This hotel is probably the only Five-Diamond property on Koh Tao. It offers excellent facilities and service, though the price is a bit high. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the snorkeling is good. Perhaps due to the rainy season, the waves were a bit rough, so we didn't see many fish. Kayaking is also affordable. In addition to picking up guests according to the ferry company's schedule, the hotel also offers a free daily shuttle (hotel to the pier: 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM; pier to the hotel: 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM)."

"Fabulous snorkeling just on the shore of the hotel. Black tip sharks, fish of all colors, beautiful coral. Amazing Infinity pool with swim up bar. Super room with great view. Everyone has a big smile. Great beach. You need to be semi fit as there is a lot of stairs but it is so worth it for the view. Food for lunch and dinner is great and reasonably priced. The only negative is the breakfast… it is really not great. Worsr than breakfast at 2 stars hotel."

"Came with my girlfriend on a diving trip for 6 nights at the koh Tao cabana. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Take advantage of the free paddle boards and kayaks if you can. Super nice area on the beach all reserved for this resort. The breakfast was also very nice and loved the Thai options as well as the western food options. The rooms can be individual cabanas on a hillside so it is a little bit of a walk up but this didn’t bother us. We would stay here again and very happy with our experience. "This family villa was a great location to enjoy the beach front. The sand was soft and beautiful. The private pool was larger than expected and satisfying to swim in. The room was well designed. My family was very happy staying here. When our AC wasn’t cool enough the staff fixed it. The tub water was warm but not hot. If I stayed more time I would have asked for that to be fixed. The breakfast could be better but it was ok. All in all, pretty happy."

"This is the best hotel in Koh Tao. Best location, best beach bar, great pool and the room was perfect with a massive balcony. Highly recommend for any backpackers or couples travelling. Scuba diving shop is literally in the hotel."

"The hotel isn't brand new, but the rooms are spacious. We had a room with a balcony and a sea view, complete with a daybed, which was a fantastic feature. It's located on the other side of the pier. While there's a shuttle service, we preferred renting a scooter to get around. Breakfast was pretty standard and could get quite crowded. The beach is gorgeous, and they offer complimentary kayaks for guests. They also have three excellent swimming pools. Overall, we were satisfied with our two-day stay."

"Expensive, but for a room with 18 people, surprisingly decent. There is a club playing music until late, but earplugs were effective for me. Fellow travelers were quiet and respectful. I was the only female in the toom, and felt comfortable. The building is a bit tucked away so the walk can feel long at night."

"First arrival there was black mould in the bathroom, ants in the room and a tear in the curtain. Naturally I complained but received no apology. The staff member on duty seemed inexperienced and couldn’t offer any solutions. I kindly requested someone come and clean it as there was no other room available. Long story short, I showered in a dirty shower that night. The next day a manager apologised and attempted to resolved the issues to a manageable condition. The manager also made some effort to make me feel better which I appreciated. The room itself I loved, 705 is nice and the views are absolutely stunning. However, the shower needs a deep clean and some maintenance. Also staff need training around hospitality."
