We arrived at the camping after travelling around Western Europe for 3 weeks. Location was great for our 2 days at Kolmården zoo. We stayed in a tent with electricity possibility. Booked 4 months in advance..and we were on hard soil. Luckily I had skrewspikes to set the tent with. Some small maintenance issues, but generrally ok.

One night with Husbil & 3 adults for 800 SEK is very stiff for average site in terms of available and quality of facilities. Staff could also be a bit friendlier for the price, especially during the check in process :(

Had to wait in line for 30-45 minutes every time we had to use the toilets. There was not toilet paper available and the service houses were disgusting and and dirty with a horrible smell. Did not clean or full up with toilet paper for our stay. The location was good. We were hoping to enjoy the shoreline but the smell was aweful because of the House for latrine.

We stayed at Trollhöjdstuga. The room with beds is so small ypu can feel suffocating. Bad shower, drapes ripped toilet so so, portable stove??? No sheets, cleaning to pay additional, no wifi...really bad for a lot of money when u can get a really good hotel for.

The campsite did not meet my expectations at all. If we start with what was good, it was that the staff and the new mini golf course tried to help as best they could and the situation cannot be complained about. Then we get to the more boring stuff:
- Slow service and poorly equipped reception
- The kitchen was under all criticism, dirty and smelled like ****
- All barbecue areas were unusable/full of rubbish
No grass was cut and mud everywhere
- The pier had blown away?
- Padel court right outside the room makes it very noisy
- The service center was (when we arrived) way too far away
- The lighting did not work in the store
- We missed a lot in our cabin: e.g. blankets and a switched-on refrigerator
- Too low standard for the price we paid
- We were charged twice for the accommodation as the hotel's and the campsite's own systems were not in sync

Absolut klasse.Wir sind Greenhorns waS Camping angeht,aber das war gar kein Problem. Sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen,sehr nettes Personal,kurze Wege,klasse!Kolmarden steht anderen First Camp Plätzen in NICHTS nach und während unserer Rundreise durch Schweden haben wir nur First Camp Plätze gebucht!
