We had an amazing time at Port9. The staff is super nice and helpful. Food is amazing, and you can also choose some additional options, like the grill outside. Seafood is always fresh and of high quality. Evenings are graced with live music played by some local guys. Really cool. Plenty of parking, outdoor activities... It was perfect. Thank you!

Arrived for one week mid sept with tui, room was nice and had 1 lounge, 1 bedroom, 1 shower-tolet and 1 bath-tolet. Room. It was a nice size for 2 people. The restaurant was in its own building and the food was good with a nice variety of dishes. Drinks were expensive as a 300ml coke was nearly 5 euros, but that is the going rate for most food places in Croatia. There is a fridge in your room with a minibar, BUT you have to pay if you take anything out (no room for your own drinks). There is a large supermarket across the road that sells most things and is quite cheep. Bring your own kettle. The area has 4 or 5 blocks of rooms plus a self-catering chalet area and a mobil home area, so it has a mixed clientèle. The kids' area and clubs looked good, although we're didn't have kids with us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The infinity pool was great, BUT if you want a lounger on the beech you have to PAY EXTRA... the trip from the airport has lovely views and takes over an hour plus a 15 min ferry trip to the island. Port 19 is literally 3 mins away from the port. This place does weddings and loud music plays till stupid aclock, we were in block 4 and didn't hear anything once the windows were shut but other blocks were nearer so? 4 stars out of 5 is because there was only one small bar on site and no adult entertainment except a quiz or music @ the same bar but we went mid sep so there could be more in the summer months. All in all a good holiday with fantastic scenery and a nice town a 20 min walk away. Please bring beach shoes as sea urchins Hury if stood on. Any questions you have I will happily try to answer. Check out photos for food and map of area. Please note photo on advert is NOT the normal accommodation blocks. I have added phots, the look brutal but inside they are very comfortable and have loads of sockets. Good holidays

We went to Dubrovnik which was lovely but as with all excursions from Korcula Tui only go from Dubrovnik which is 2.5 hours away. So don’t book with TUI as you have to make your own way to Dubrovnik first. Transfer to the hotel firstly was 5 hours due to TUI not keeping to transfer itinerary and stopping several times on route. Not what we was told on the app should have been airport 2.5 hours to port an the 20 minute transfer to Korcula island. The actual resort is a few minutes from the port. On arrival we was greeted by Ivana and Josipa at reception and given instructions to our room. The block we were in Im was called Perla rooms were lovely and spacious very quiet and carpeted which was lovely. Only fault bath with shower (the bath is very high to step into) so we was told could have a room with shower if preferred. The resort itself is beautiful with forest and gardens. Pools were ample size one freshwater and two kidney shaped that are salt water and much quieter but only 1.3m in the deep end. There was a main buffet style restaurant for breakfast and dinner both we could not fault the choice and options available. Staff were lovely in the restaurant also. Entertainment up to end of May was as expected disco or quiz from June 1st much more going on. An more places around the resort were open as main season is June 1st. There is a walk across to the old town which is beautiful 2.3km which I find ti be easier to walk from Old Town rather than to. The taxi boat is €3 euro each way and takes minutes leaves every 30mins now in season. There is also the option of island hop on hop off for €20 with fours stops for swimming and walking etc. In the evening a electro buggy is €10 depending on how many travel flat rate for up to 6 people. The resort has a small children’s play area which is shaded and a small freshwater pool with waterfall and tipping buckets. Tennis court an water sports, bikes etc all available to hire. Me and my Mum had a fantastic time we have been many places around the island and to Orebic which is just a short crossing back to mainland and is 10 mins walk to ferry from hotel. The reception team were very helpful and arranged with a local company excursions and they were amazing. Wine and honey tours, sea picnics and Mostar etc. we went to Dubrovnik and it was lovely but very very busy and expensive compared to little Dubrovnik here in Korcula. If you want the best of both and feel like your in paradise then here is the place to be it’s beautiful Ivana and Josipa will do anything and everything to help and make it an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful island only next time we will get private transfers and probably book direct as we found it would be much cheaper and quicker. TUI have no rep or welcome pack of any sort on arrival. Thank you port 9 Aminess resort for an amazing holiday.

We arrived late at night and wondered what we had booked. It was dark and the place was very austere not what we expected. The room turned out to be a suite and we were grateful for the space. Two bathrooms and a lounge and balcony Breakfast and evening meals are taken in another building with beautiful views if you can get a seat on the patio. The food was ok buffet style with lots of choice. Every where is clean and the staff friendly. You can swim in either the sea or hotel pools and get towels from the pool man. If you want to go into Korcula town you can either walk (25 minutes) or take a water taxi which is just below the pool.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. The overall facilities are really good: great pool area (although the water temp is cooler than the sea) and lovely beach area for really safe swimming with crystal water. Incredible views! The restaurant is also a really nice area, however the evening food really lacked- It felt really mismatched items (but breakfast was good.) Our room I was really underwhelmed with on first impression I wouldn’t call it a “superior room” by any means and I would be very hesitant to see the basic room. The room was comfy, but it felt straight out of a bland city hotel with zero character or charm- such a shame when the outside surrounding are so beautiful! So yes I would recommend this hotel for the beautiful scenery and location but don’t expect to be blown away by the hotel rooms (think standard travelodge.)

Biggest tip I could give would be take a padded cushion for sunbeds round the pool. The most uncomfortable sunbeds, ever. The room we were in was fine, in the Timun block, although trying not to flood the bathroom with the weird shower screen is an art I didn't grasp. The food in the restaurant is OK although the desserts in the evening dinner, looked fan y, but were bland, and there was a feeling of deja vu with it. Hotel grounds are well maintained and attractive but should have had downlighting, as the paths at night were bit tricky for some of the elderly guests. The staff were fine, on the whole apart from the towel and beach men, who were rude and incompetent. I think charging 16€ for 2 sunbeds and umbrella on their own, small pebbly beach is outrageous, and the beach man came and went when he pleased and so some paid and some managed to dodge him depending if he could be bothered turning up. The main gripe was the price of local wine....8€ for a small glass of ok wine. I would recommend the Mirabel restaurant round the end of the towpath for great food a d wine, and Belin restaurant if you want a break from canteen food. Korcula Town is lovely, try Marco Polo restaurant, tasty grills on hot coals and lovely house wine. The town is picturesque, quaint and historic. I think, if you are going to Korcula, though, a week is more than enough.
