The Ski Rider was perfect for our family holiday. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet, food at the bistro for breakfast and dinner was lovely. The Bar and Grill was fabulous. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Ski Hire is there and great to be set up prior to skiing. The bus to the snow and back was easy and always on time. We all loved staying at the Ski Rider. We were here in 1975. So next year marks 50 years!

The room was warm, clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and the amenities cheerful. Great location close to smiggins and Perisher. It was a great ski stop with hire, shuttle, breakfast, dinner and entertainment on site. This offered good value for money. Perfect for families or friends who spend max time at the snow and want a friendly place to relax after a big day.

Great location, bus runs to Perisher very convenient and plenty of runs per day. Good venue although it’s a shame they charge people to play the arcade and pool games. Good food options included. Prices for vending items. Very expensive. $5+ for cans of drinks seems steep. The only thing they need is electric charging options.

Excellent staff, service, food and cleanliness. Will definitely be back. Great value for money (considering how pricey a ski trip is). Recommend to anyone with kids or coming with a big group of friends Rooms could be a tiny bit warmer, but fine with warm PJs

Second time staying here. Fantastic for ski trips - breakfasts & dinner (& entertainment) included, plus shuttle bus, makes it so easy and there is plenty to suit everyone. Ginger beer was vert tasty. The staff super friendly - thank you for everything!

Great Family holiday. Staff lovely & food exceeded expectations. The Grill is awesome. Easy & seamless experience. Once you arrive you don't need the car. Stressfree skiing holiday. The bus is great & a lovely surprise with the showers & changerooms to make the most of that last day of powder ! We will be back (for a 3rd time !).

We had a holiday booked and paid for at Ski Rider, including hire of equipment and clothes. My husband suffered a medical emergency and was not able to attend the holiday. I called the office on the day prior to arriving to advise of our circumstances and left a message for a return call. I did not receive a return call until a voice message left on my mobile 2 days later. The check in staff on reception suggested I email head office, provide a medical certificate and request a refund for his share of accommodation and hire of equipment and clothing. I did this and was denied a refund because we did not have travel insurance. Separately, I was able to receive a refund/snow credit from Perisher for his lift pass and lessons with no questions asked once they received the medical certificate. When something is outside of your control, I did expect some kind of understanding and compassion and received nothing.

I went with my family last ski season. If you are looking for old backpackers cross school camp style accommodation then this is for you. Rooms were dirty and cold. Food was uncooked and tasteless. Staff looked unhappy and were extremely unhelpful. Managers didn't even care when we said something. Ski hire was old and dated. Bus was slow and took forever to get up the hill. Over an hour. My advice go some where else. Honestly the worst accommodation on the hill.
