We have just stayed atthe Forza Terra hotel in a stunning location on the waterfront near Kotor in Monte*****. This is a boutique hotel with only 12 rooms which prvides service and food of the highest quality. the staff are e xtremely welcoming & the facilities with waterfront loungers, restaurant & an indoor pool & spa are 5-star.

Lovely upmarket hotel by the water in Dobrota. designer led rooms (ours was Dior (grey and lots of mirrors), and we had the sofa as an extra bed for 3 of us. Enormous superking bed. tiny balcony looking out over the bay. Nice big shower room, turn down service etc. Very friendly service at reception, very helpful. Breakfast buffet you could take food and sit by the water and then order hot food. All very nice. The restaurant evening food was also delicious. Small private area with sunloungers with access into the water and a pier you can lie out on fatboy bean bags. Small plunge pool available in the shade. Free parking. restaurants within walking distance without having to go into Kotor bay (very busy).

This place is a true 5 star gem. The view from our Hermes inspired boutique balcony was second to none. The amazing service staff was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The Sea facing restaurant served wonderful fresh fish, homemade pastas and appetizers that are second to none in the city. A special shoutout to our server, Alexander, who is probably the most knowledgeable, professional and experienced server I’ve ever met. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel and restaurant to everyone visiting Kotor, Monte*****.

The room was clean, but there was a lot of mold around the ventilation that could have been easily cleaned. The breakfast service was terrible. I was unable to sit at a table that was set outside, and when I was seated at another table, I was not given any cutlery or a menu. No one asked me what kind of coffee I wanted. I eventually went inside to get my own cutlery from a set table. About half of the breakfast selection at the buffet was empty and not refilled. After I pointed this out, it took a long time for them to refill it. However, the food that was available was great. We stayed at the hotel for two nights and breakfast was equally bad both days unfortunately

Without a doubt one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. It’s a top quality boutique hotel where service is the No1 objective. The hotel is pure luxury. The restaurant is superb but what makes it stand out are the staff, nothing is too much trouble, they are always happy to help and Drago is without a doubt the best restaurant manager I have ever met. Top hotel !

Top quality hotel. I am a big fan of small boutique hotels and this ticked all the boxes. The hotel staff were so kind and helpful and we were well looked after. Other positives included the excellent restaurant, gym (albeit small) and terrace area by the water which was perfect for relaxing on the sun beds provided. Only negative was the distance to the Old Town (30-40 mins walk) but there are so many positives that more than outweigh the location. Actually no need to visit the Old Town everyday as there were very good restaurants close by.

BEWARE… Prepare to get ripped off at this restaurant. We were offered a six course meal at €110 per person (including Lobster pasta). Food was good and we enjoyed our lunch & the location, until the bill came. We checked the bill before paying and noticed they put an additional €600 on the bill. When we questioned the extra charge, they tried to argue it saying that lobster is expensive in Monte***** and that the price they gave for the set meal was just an estimate. Then they switched to the argument of “the waiter is new” and didn’t know. After arguing with the waiter and manager for about 10 minutes and them not wanting to remove it from the bill, we were more or less forced to pay it and then left right away. So instead of paying €900-1000 for the six of us we ended up paying €1500. I mean tell your guests if you charge something extra, but don’t sneak an extra €100 per person on the bill. Never again. Short sighted thinking of the management to screw your customers this way. Such a shame as it’s a nice place otherwise. So bring your Vaseline if you decide to eat here.

Great location on water, close to Kotor. If you want a boutique hotel this is very good place. Service is good, not great. Breakfast subpar for price of property and rooms a bit small. Did not try restaurant for dinner. Would stay again. Recommended.

Hotel Forza Terra hosted a friends wedding in June of 2023. The hotel itself is gorgeous, very clean and modern. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. But this hotel really shines with its staff - the most friendly, professional and able group of people you’ll likely meet. 110% recommended!
