My 1st visit to Kumarakom turned into a beautiful experience, largely because of Back Water Ripples Resort and the backwaters. The resort sprawls across vast area, with a garden, greenery, and a swimming pool adjacent to the backwater. We stayed in a garden-view deluxe room that was exceptionally spacious, clean, and well kept. The package included fishing and a one-hour boat ride with music, all arranged as promised. A heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Sindhu mam, whose warmth and politeness accompanied us from the booking inquiry to checkout. Sindhu mam guided us to visit MALARIGAL, a stunningly scenic spot, and made sure we were comfortable and didn’t miss anything. Thank you, ma’am. Front desk people are very prompt in responding to our queries. Kudos as well to Gireesh in the restaurant for his ever-present smile and to Sudheesh. The breakfast was superb, and lunch and dinner offered a wide variety, with the prawn mango curry being a highlight. Portions were ample. Amenities include table tennis, carrom, chess, and table football, plus bicycle ride. We thoroughly enjoyed every activity. In short, this is a destination not to be missed, thanks to outstanding hospitality, friendly staff, and excellent value for money.

We stayed at Backwater Ripples for four days during my sister’s wedding, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The Haldi ceremony and the reception were both hosted here, and everything was beautifully arranged. All of our guests from Sweden also stayed here, and they too had a very pleasant and memorable stay. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared, and the service team went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our time here even more special. A big thank you to the entire team at Backwater Ripples for making the wedding celebrations so smooth and enjoyable.

We had our wedding week here at Backwater Ripples, Haldi and Reception. Excellent service, excellent food in every way and the resort is suuuuperbeautiful. Me and my now wife ***** with around 80 guests loved every second here. We will definitely come back for honeymoon to this resort. Thank you for making our wedding days the best of our life’s ❤️

We loved this resort! From check in to check out everything went smooth. All the staff are so kind & courteous. Special mention : Shyam at Reservations,Indraja, Deepamol& Piyush at Reception & all the restaurant staff. chef Jelson took great pains to make special food to meet my dietary requirements. Also the South Indian cuisine Chef. Anandu and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Ali the doorman was very helpful too. We stayed in the Executive Tower room- very spacious with a large , private bathroom and a balcony with lake view, though far away. The AC worked very well. Bed was a bit lumpy& pillows were too thick& hard, but we still managed to sleep well There’s lots of space to walk around the property. Evening Chayakada, Shikara boat ride and entertainment were also included in the tariff. The only suggestion we have is about checking the pressure pump every morning so that the toilet flush works without any hiccups! Also, cleanliness in the dining hall and rooms may have to be looked into by the supervisors.

Staffs were soo friendly and supportive. From the front office, resultant team, parking team all were really good. We had a homely feeling. Ambience is excellent. Good service overall. Food is also good. Pool was clean and less clorine. Have decent activities in and arround. Really recomend a days stay here.
