Excellent location, renovated rooms. No extra services, like booking tours around city. Bathroom is open only 4-8pm.

Loved the vibe of this place. It felt very traditional and was a super unique experience. The included dinner and breakfast were alright, not quite my speed but I enjoyed it for the most part. The morning ceremony at 6:45am was cool, and we were given a quick tour and history lesson after. The room was warm and clean, even after it snowed quite a bit overnight. The bath was great too. I’d definitely stay here again.

Loved staying here. The monks were great, it was such a unique and cool experience. My favorite part of our trip was staying here!

It's not a bad hotel around koyasan but You can have a lot of options. so

I really liked it; everything was beautiful and traditional. But the Buddhist kaiseki and breakfast were very unnutritious. I enjoyed the morning service and the opportunity to interact with the friendly monks.

The location is good, only 100 meters away from Huiguangyuan, which is very convenient for participating in various activities. The receptionist was an old man who didn't speak English very well, but he was able to give an introduction in English. There should be few people. The house is very large and has a separate bathroom. I didn't experience anything else. The price/performance ratio is still good.

To get to know Koyasan quietly.

Ctrip's service is really good. I called to ask how to get there. The lady responded to me within two hours. The reply was very accurate! There are also weather and check-in reminder text messages before check-in. Compared with the same period last year, when I booked a hotel on the IHG official website, I had to write emails to the hotel myself for all questions. There was absolutely no service at all. After getting off the Koyasan Cable Car at the Koyasan Cable Car, take bus No. 21 and get off at the 8th stop, which is less than 50 meters away. Various temples here are on both sides of the main street, and transportation is very convenient. Even walking to all attractions is not impossible. The vegetarian meal is relatively simple but quite grand. You can experience it in morning classes. It's definitely a different experience. We brought our seven year old and everything was very friendly. You can soak in the hot spring in the hotel at night before sleeping. There is a 9 o'clock curfew! Go to bed early and get up early. The old monk was particularly kind and sang sutras like a baritone. He used a translator on his mobile phone to explain what he said in Japanese and what he said on his mobile phone was in English. Modern technology brings us closer to Buddha.
