This is absolute disgrace of a hotel You could tell the receptionist didn’t want to give us the keys I can see why this place receives poor feedback It is awful 4 flights of stairs we stayed in an attic that smelt of mould you couldn’t possibly relax in this room Although we were in the attic we’re you would expect to feel safe a man was trying to get into the skylight in our daughters room and when we complained to the receptionist she was not interested in the slightest Had we had more money we would have left as soon as we arrived

Situated just off the main market square this cannot be beaten for location! We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights through *********** and paid £220 total including breakfast for superior rooms with square view. The rooms are accessed via a number of stairs - there are no lifts so this is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. We arrived into krakow late, reception closes at 6 so it’s really important you let them know if you are going to be later. They were really helpful and put the keys in a lockbox and messaged me the code. The building is very old and quirky and on the lower floor seems to be offices. You need the key fob to access the door which keeps it secure. The superior rooms are 4 flights up. We were allocated rooms 23 and 26. Room 26 was a twin bedded room overlooking the main square. The room itself was adequate, the bathroom was great - fairly new with a big walk in shower and hairdryer. The beds weren’t very comfortable and the pillow was too high and firm. The room was double glazed to block out most of the noise from the square but the radiator was in full on arrival so we had to open the windows and turn it off to be able to sleep. The room had a safe, fridge, microwave, tv and plenty of glasses, cutlery and plates but no tea or coffee! Breakfast was taken in a cafe directly under the rooms on the main square. The reception provided us vouchers which we collected each morning. It runs from 9-1 and you choose from English, polish, vegan, French breakfast or a egg and bacon roll. It also included juice or coffee. Additional drinks were around 9 zloty. Check out is 11 and they will hold your luggage until reception closes at 6. Not the most glamorous of places but for the location, price and breakfast this is definitely somewhere I would stay again.

We had a superior room with a great view over the main square, which was great, but unless you kept the windows closed and wore earplugs it was too noisy. Loads of noise from tourists in the square, the clock bells every hour then followed by the bugler playing for several minutes and then from about 5:00 am fleets of vans delivering to the restaurants and shops. Our fridge was also very noisy. We stayed for 3 nights and the room was not cleaned or the towels changed. There was a kettle, cups, glasses etc. but no tea, coffee or milk. The shower gel was watered down and there was no shampoo provided. No lift. The stairs are not too bad, but my wife has a bad knee. On the plus side, the room itself was fine if a bit basic, the shower worked, the location is superb for the old town and the price was very reasonable.

Arrived at hotel at 10.40 pm with instructions and number to open the key box which opened but no key was in there tried to phone the hotel whilst standing freezing outside no answer no after hour contact number had to walk around to find alternative accommodation went back next day with no answer what’s so ever entrance to hotel didn’t seem very safe lots of young men going up and down the stairs

Carnt complain on price , but be prepared it is very outdated, tatty ,basic and not very clean . Bedding and towels really old and faded . Lots of steps . One tiny window, no view . Found fleas in room . Would not return Only positive is location and hot water . But very cheap per night if on a budget . Please check your charges however as I have been charged nearly twice amount of original price booked as they have taken extra payments am awaiting a response to this so please be careful I would not stay again .

A very quaint property. The location was fantastic. Right on the main square. A lovely restaurant right next door as well. Highly recommend if you want to be in the old town of Krakow. It was a walk-up apartment, but it really was not bad at all. The staff were always very helpful.
