hit alpinea runs this and many horeca establshments here. The lifts work, room clean, BUT next to no Wi-Fi signal, no air conditioning, stained carpets, cracked armchairs in foyer, breakfast diluted powder "fruit nectar" juices, restaurant serves a wide variety but of mostly stews or soupy food, sometimes obviously leftovers, noisy bathroom fan, bathroom stank of sewer, water boiler but no coffee or tea in the room, high restaurant drinks prices - much more than the vending machine next to the restaurant door

the room was clean. the lifts worked well. the red carpets had bleached and other stains. the room was very hot, no AC. cracked armchairs in foyer. diluted powder "fruit" nectar for breakfast. restaurant meal was mediocre .. often soupy stewed, overpriced restaurant drinks (＞＞price of the same from the vending machine next to the restaurant). frayed bath mats, noisy bathroom fan, bathroom stank of sewer, occasionally "fresh" towels were stained. Kranjska Gora is a sport and ski location between Austria Italy and Slovenia, though mainly of interest for ski in winter, cycling (mountain bike) and hiking (trekking), or as base camp for excursions.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Kranjska Gora. Buffet dinner was excellent with choices of very tender meats and usually pasta too. Delicious cakes (as everywhere in Slovenia) . The room was good with very soft pillows and a nice shower. No aircon but the staff lent a fan which was fine. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. KG is a beautiful area with well marked trails for hiking and absolutely litter free. There is an hourly bus service to Ratece, and it is easy to walk to Italy from there and even to the meeting of three countries ( Italy , Austria and Slovenia ) at the top of Mount Tromeja, although this is more challenging. Also worth visiting the delightful Jasna lake- an easy stroll away.

Rooms comfortable and clean, but no air conditioning which made it quite uncomfortable until I was given a fan, which helped some. There was a fridge and tv, and balcony. We were overlooking church which chimed very regularly which was a bit disturbing. Towels and sheets changed regularly. We were half board, the food was ok, some days better than others. Always well cooked, the restaurant staff were very helpful and looked after us well. You must always ask if you need or want something. Disappointed not to have complimentary water with evening meal.

Room Comfortable and clean. Has to and fridge, but no tea making facilities. Our room was overlooking the church which chimes 24hrs a day! Luckily we bought earplugs. The biggest problem is that it is hot as no air conditioning. So had windows open, unfortunately mosquitoes enjoyed biting me every night, despite sprays. Windows have no fly screens. Restaurant Food fine, not great but ok. Dinner is served with no complimentary drink, no even water, which was strange. Facilities We were able to use the pool at neighbouring hotel, as part of deal, which was lovely.

It's our third year here, and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is 10 10-minute walk from the ski resort and offers a locker for skies and skiing boots in the warm room in the garage. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. The buffet breakfast and dinner offer a great variety of food. In the morning, you also have drinks included in the price. The rooms are clean and warm. The cleaning lady comes each morning to vacuum, clean, and change the towels if needed. Although there were a lot of families with kids in the period we stayed, it was peaceful, and you could rest well at night.

Great balcony views of mountains and town. Ideally located and convenient to walk to shops and restaurants. Rooms are clean and come with a microwave, sofa and writing table. Breakfast buffet is extensive with lots of options. Sufficient for a short stay.
