IT IS A SERVICED APARTMENT, NOT A HOTEL.
My stay at this property was far from the 5-star hotel experience it claimed to offer. It was essentially an apartment, and the entire process was unnecessarily cumbersome.
Check-in Process:
Upon arrival, we had to queue at the ground-floor counter (the only one available) to show our booking confirmation and passports. After this, we were directed to level 51 for another check-in process before heading back down to our room. The room itself required a single key card to unlock, which was not very convenient.
Parking Experience:
The parking situation was the most frustrating part of our stay. We had to drive up 20 ramps (10 floors) to park our car at the designated lot, which was extremely tedious. Adding to the confusion, the parking instructions were only sent to us after check-in, which meant we had to park elsewhere initially, costing us RM10 at the Crowne Plaza.
Check-out Experience:
The check-out process was equally inefficient. Since the procedure required 10-15 minutes for the staff to check the room, and we were rushing to the airport, I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp to ask if we could move our car first. The staff confirmed that we needed to drive the car down before checking out. To save time, I asked my family to drive the car down while I returned the key to the counter.
However, our car got stuck at the gantries on the way out. While a staff member came down to assist with the first gantry, we had to wait an extended period for help with the second gantry.
Overall Experience:
The entire process felt unnecessarily complicated, from check-in to parking and check-out. The lack of proper instructions and the tedious parking arrangement made for a very unsmooth experience. The parking situation, in particular, was the worst part and left us feeling stressed and rushed during check-out.
