Kingston Hotel 20 @ Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur, Formerly Known as Areena Star Hotel

The lobby guard and receptionist are very friendly and attentive. Even those at Breakfast are friendly and attentive.

recently stayed in a Deluxe Suite for 1 night at Kingston Hotel 20 @ Chinatown (formerly known as Areena Star Hotel). The hotel provides underground parking, but it is very limited. If you are lucky, you may be able to get a spot. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It had a nice view, and overall the stay was convenient and pleasant. However, the window blinds need replacement as they were broken and dusty. Breakfast was decent — I would rate it 7/10. Overall, it was a good stay with some minor improvements needed

Yesterday, due to extreme fatigue, I went to bed immediately. However, when I woke up the next morning, I was shocked to find cockroaches on the bed, in the bathroom, and on the floor. This is completely unacceptable and poses a serious hygiene concern. What is even more alarming is that when I opened the toilet paper, multiple cockroaches ran out. Although I did not manage to take photos due to how sudden the situation was, this does not change the severity of the issue. This incident has caused me significant discomfort and distress and has severely affected my stay. I expect this matter to be taken seriously. I am formally requesting appropriate compensation, along with a clear explanation and immediate corrective action. Please respond to me as soon as possible.

The hotel need proper maintenance. The bathtub was not usable. Confusing to go to the room as they have different towers. But it wasn’t informed by the front desk

The hotel was clean and comfortable with a convenient location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and good value for money.
