MOV Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Perfect downtown location, walkable to everything. The front desk was friendly. Luggage storage for early check-in. The room was clean, simple, sound proof, water pressure is very good and the bed was very comfortable - a great value. Other than the loud fan of the air conditioning. Overall is good. We will definitely come back to stay this hotel for our next trip in KL.

Good security service, clean, front desk staff good & friendly. Will be perfect if there is fridge. So far like the location.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile.

Our stay at the hotel was not pleasant and I would not recommend this hotel. Firstly, the room itself was not very clean, there was a layer of dust on a lot of surfaces that showed a lack of wiping down between guests, the toilet and sink area also had built up grime, again, the kind that would have easily been dealt with had the housekeeping stayed on top of wiping the area and also the bed sheets had lots of marks on them and we found an ant in our bed on our first night. We’re normally not big complainers, but you want a hotel room to not be somewhere you dread coming back to after a long day, which this was for us. It’s really surprising that for a four star hotel, the cleanliness of the room was so haphazard, the sheets could be easily removed of marks had they used stain remover, the grime and dust easily taken care of too. Secondly, the service wasn’t great as the communication with the reception on trying to get more toilet paper or other things for the room would be challenged (housekeeping says we’ve already got what we need so you don’t need another) and just generally stand offish. Finally, the air con in the room is way too loud when it’s on, and coupled with how thin the walls are, it wasn’t a very comfortable sleeping experience. The only good thing about the hotel is the location and the reception looks nice but everything falls down after that.

Room is comfortable and hotel is well-located in Bukit Bintang area, but too well-located. It is very noisy at night even into the wee hours due to club music downstairs, and people outside release fireworks after 12 mn throughout the night, kept disturbing my sleep and waking me up. Not within the hotel’s control though.
