I recently stayed at the Westin Kuala Lumpur for five nights, and while there were some positive aspects to my stay, there were also several areas that need improvement.
**Positives:**
- **Service:** The standout feature of my stay was the service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout my visit.
-**Location:** Amazing location
- **Breakfast:** The breakfast was quite enjoyable. The variety of options and the quality of food were impressive. However, the juices could be improved as some tasted watered down. The breakfast staff, like the rest of the team, were fantastic.
**Areas for Improvement:**
- **Room Cleanliness:** Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. I found dust and crumbs under the bed, and certain parts of the room were noticeably dusty. Additionally, the mirror was smudged as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival. To make matters worse, I found a nicotine patch box under the bedside table. Instead of discarding it, the cleaner assumed it was mine and left it on top of the bedside table. This further highlighted the lack of thorough cleaning before new guests arrive.
- **Bathroom:** The bathroom was another disappointment. The bathtub didn’t function properly as the sink plug failed to hold water, leading to a frustrating experience.
- **Room Condition:** Overall, the rooms felt quite dated and in need of renovation. With some updates and better attention to hygiene, the stay could have been much more pleasant.
