Hotels near Petaling, Kuala Lumpur

The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the Twin Towers – just a 15-minute walk if you turn right out of the hotel and then right again. There's no deposit policy. I happened to check in early before 3:00 PM on September 19, 2026, for the FunRun event, and my room was upgraded for free to a high floor. From there, I could see both the Twin Towers and the swimming pool. The deluxe double room had double-glazed windows for soundproofing, and all the facilities were comprehensive, truly meeting five-star standards. The biggest highlight was the extensive and fresh breakfast, far superior to hotels I've stayed at in Imbi. Five stars from me! I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to KL.

This hotel is popular even with locals. The breakfast offers a rich variety of flavors, the room is clean with direct drinking water, and all facilities are complete. The swimming pool is currently under renovation, but guests can use the infinity pool on the 25th floor of the neighboring building. The location is also excellent; within a few minutes' walk, you'll find numerous shopping malls, supermarkets, the Lot 10 Hutong food court, and Jalan Alor. It's only about a 10-odd MYR Grab ride to Merdeka Square, Petaling Street, and the Petronas Twin Towers. The MRT is just a few minutes' walk away, and the 1 MYR bus stop is right across the street. There's also a 'Durian Brothers' nearby that serves delicious cream buns.

I had a pleasant stay here. The staff personally accompanied me to the room and showed me the way to unlocked the main entrance door with code and access card. Check-in and check-out times are flexible—just inform the owner in advance. The room is clean and new, and the amenities are complete, including soap, shampoo, toothbrush, towels, slippers, an iron, hairdryer, mirror both in room and bathroom, air conditioner, fan, TV but you need to log in your own Netflix account for entertainment, small fridge, kitchen facilities, an oven, cooking utensils, plates and cutlery. They also provide two small bottles of mineral water. Plus, there’s a nice view of the twin towers from the window. Got unpleasant smell from the wardrobe but the owner explained that is for pest control.

The hotel has spectacular KLCC and twin tower views. The room was nice with 2 King beds and complimentary drinks. Although they didn’t fulfill my requests (non corner room or last room at the corridor, not facing construction site, memory foam, etc.) I think for the room was good and worth for money. The bed and pillow were supportive. The private swimming pool was located outside the bathroom. Pic. 5, the people in the other building could see clearly inside our bathroom. I felt lack of privacy and security. The hotel can consider to put anti-peeping stickers on the glass door. The hotel ranked #11 luxury hotel in KL on Trip.com. The breakfast quality was average. I noticed their “pre-made food” packs were placed on the buffet counter alongside with guests’ food, which felt unprofessional. It really put me off my appetite.

Our second stay here, overall stay was still comfortable. The bed, Aircon and shower water pressure is comfortable. Service from hotel staff and room view is good. When we required items in the room, hotel staff will send it up very quickly! The few setbacks of this room is that the room and toilet floor is a little bit dirty, the same piece of dirt and dust was still on the floor throughout our entire stay since we checked in. There are days where housekeeping would top up our toilet rolls, facial tissue, glass bottled water (add in additional bottles for us) without us asking, and we really appreciate this housekeeper! But there was 2 days where it felt like the house keeper barely did anything. Did not refill anything in the room and only took out the trash. The door separating the toilet and the room was also jammed, it can't be closed fully. Also now there's no more ear plugs for us to use when sleeping, and the bedroom slipper material is extremely scratchy on the skin. As we really like this hotel, we hope this hotel can improve a little bit, so that we can stay here every year when we come back to KL.

Our stay at BlackNest Vortex Suites KLCC was truly excellent, exceeding our expectations. The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious and comfortable. Both the living room and bedroom were thoughtfully decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere, and the facilities were quite comprehensive. The location is incredibly convenient, not far from KLCC and the Petronas Towers, with easy access to dining, shopping, and transportation. It's perfectly suited for families or groups of friends. I'd especially like to thank the service team here for taking such great care of us throughout our stay. Alam, Riyaz, and Pinky, in particular, were all incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. From check-in communication to resolving any issues we encountered during our stay, they were always quick to respond and actively help, making us feel very secure and comfortable while traveling abroad. We were genuinely delighted with their service and are very grateful to Alam, Riyaz, and Pinky for looking after us so well. The combination of a great living environment and such an outstanding service team made this trip to Kuala Lumpur even more enjoyable. We'll definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to KL and will recommend it to our friends! Five-star rating!

Overall the unit clean. Some area around the waredrobe a bit dusty, but acceptabl. Location very good. Nearby walking distance to Mid Valley Mall / The Gardens where you can find shoppings and foods around. There's no hanger initially in the room, however the customer service bring to us after we feedback. Washing machine is available to clean the clothing. Prior few days before travel, I checked with the customer service if the early check is possible. They told Yes but only until when I do the actual check-in, then only mentioned we have to pay RM 80++ for the early check with 2 hours earlier. It's not wrong on the clause but I hope it could be more transparent to let us know beforehand that there's a fee to imposed for early check in.

The elevator was terrifying during check-out time; I waited forever and couldn't get on, so I ended up climbing down the stairs from the 33rd floor! The host was a bit slow to respond, but eventually resolved the issue for me. The location is fantastic, very close to many large shopping malls, and there's even a convenience store downstairs. However, the traffic here is quite bad. You can see famous landmarks from your room!

Room was dirty with stains as you can see from my pictures and the mattress definitely needs to be changed and the bed was very small. Didn’t have a good sleep at all. I have stayed many time at Hilton in the uk and it’s my top choice but KL disappointed me. My wife asked for paratha at breakfast as it was finished but she never got them and kept waiting

Great location right within the chinatown street and very close to Petaling street. About 10 minutes walk from Pasar Seni LRT station. Room was good enough, but nothing special view from window as I expected for a deluxe room. Switching the lift at 2nd floor to go to the 6th floor was a bit of a headache when you are tired after a long journey, but then, its ok. Wifi connectivity was good.
