Due to special circumstances my daughter and I stayed for a week in Kufstein. Platzhirsch Kufstein felt like home straight away. A very nice atmosphere with fantastic service. The breakfast served a la carte is excellent and the hotel's own coffee is world class. It is located right in the heart of Kufstein with a lot of of good restaurants nearby. Don't miss Hotel Platzhirsch if you visit Kufstein. It is clean and tidy with professional and welcoming staff. Really genuin and nice. Jesper and Tyra

Lovely place to stay in the heart of the city (except that my balcony door/window) was facing the wall of the neighbouring house. The staff is friendly and attentive and I appreciate a place where a delicious à la carte breakfast is offered instead of picking up stuff from a buffet. Fresh juices are not included in the "room w breakfast" but quite tasty. And the rooms come with a yoga mat - thanks for that.

Spent a lovely weekend at Platzhirsch, recommend by my friends and I must say all expectations were fulfilled! Lovely authentic rooms, great breakfast and service. View of Kufstein castle, in walking district of old town, ideal for shopping and sight seeing. The hotel owned Kaffeehaus with own roastery has an amazing variety of coffees, cakes and petit fours! I will surely be back when in this area

Great place to stay when in Kufstein! The location of the hotel is amazing, right in the middle of the city center. The hotel itself is increadibly unique, with original wall paintings in the rooms. The rooms are clean and modern. The staff is really nice and helpful. Breakfast at the cafe downstairs was also really good. Would absolutely reccommend to stay here when in Kufstein!

Wow…Like Wow! The hotel is located in one of the oldest buildings in Kufstein and it is so well appointed and finished. The blend of old and new is amazing. This is one of the top hotels I have ever stayed at and the staff enhances that statement. I have no ownership stake in the hotel, but I guarantee you will be happy you stayed there. Grüß Gott.

Not impressed
Nice new hotel but noise from the ventilation fan like something was touching the fan wing which made some annoying noise.
Was charged 25 € for a two hour later check out!
Forgot some stuff in the bathroom contacted the hotel a few hours later but they claimed that they didn't find anything left in the room? Called the next day as I was told that another maid was at work then. Called and was told again that nothing was found but they would look again and call me back. They never called me back.

During my stay at this centrally located hotel, we were treated to Austrian hospitality at its best By the friendly and helpful staff. We had a well designed room with all the modern amenities , but During our stay we experienced hospitality at its best. Friendly and caring staff, delicious food. The owners are a charming couple that are always ready to lend a hand. Within walking distance of the train station, the historic centre. Excellent bus connections to surrounding mountains And lakes for hiking and cycling.

How beautiful it is there! The owners' joy in the hotel is palpable, too, and you experience a very special kind of hospitality. A huge compliment for the successful overall concept—from the reception to the restaurant, the café-roasting room in the cellar vault, and, of course, the exquisite rooms. A special highlight is the wonderful architecture, which combines the very old with the very modern. My compliments!
