Dormy Inn Kumamoto Natural Hot Spring

Excellent value for money! The hot springs are wonderfully relaxing, and there are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, all at a relatively low price point. A taxi from Kumamoto Station was only about 50 RMB, which isn't expensive at all.

This hotel is super convenient, located directly across the street from the Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal! There's a large supermarket right next door, and the Sakuramachi shopping mall across the street is fantastic for shopping, dining, and family-friendly activities. While the hotel is a bit older, it's very well-maintained. We booked a corner room with our child, and it was spacious enough for two 24-inch suitcases to lay flat without getting in the way. Do note that there's an additional charge of 3000 JPY per night for children. The hotel's hot spring is very comfortable and quite popular. It features an indoor cold pool, a hot pool, a sauna, and an outdoor bath. Yakult is available in the morning, and various cold drinks are offered in the evening. The hotel also serves complimentary soba noodles from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, which were delicious! Overall, it offers great value for money.
