Hotel Mielparque Kumamoto

Although there is a fee, there is a parking lot and it is close to the downtown area, so I think the location is very good. The lobby and rooms are spacious and comfortable, but I was concerned that the toilet didn't flush well and there were some brown stains (probably stuck there over the years). There was another single room at a very reasonable price, but I found out in the information section of Trip.com that the room didn't have a window, so I decided to go for a room with a window, although it was about twice the price (because it was a weekend). I chose it. I think it would be a shame to have a room without a window in this location near the river and the distance from other buildings. If renovation is not possible, I would like you to clearly state that the hotel's official website does not state that reasonably priced rooms do not have windows. I don't like rooms without windows, so if I had chosen a room without windows without knowing about it, it would have been a very disappointing trip. Also, although there were no rooms available for non-smoking and smoking was allowed, there was still a faint smell of cigarettes.

I have been making good use of it. It is my hometown, and I plan to use it in the future because of the convenience of transportation.

The hotel normally hosts a lot of weddings and banquets, but the number of events has decreased dramatically due to the coronavirus. I took advantage of the discount on lodging in Kumamoto city, which was actually 10,000 yen. Dinner alone costs 5,000 yen, but with 1 night and 2 meals, it's actually 3,600 yen. The dinner was delicious, especially the Japanese food. Lunch is also reasonably priced at a few thousand yen, and there are many female customers. There's no need to be too strict about etiquette for course meals, and I'm practicing here. It's a little far from the downtown area, but the service is good and it's an old hotel, so I think it was possible to rebuild it cheaply.

The entrance was wide and there were few people and it was comfortable! I didn't even pass people in the elevator! The cleaning staff also greeted me pleasantly ^ ^
