Getting There - 2hrs drive from Kochi airport. The hotel arranged for a transfer taxi. 5,000/- one way.
Arrival- Welcomed with chandan tika, welcome drink, cold towel and a big smile by the staff.
Room- Got it early then the checkin time. Rooms are big, well lit with good views. But they need a lot of maintenance and refurbishment.
Hotel- Green, peaceful, clean.
Food & Restaurants - Only 1 restaurant with limited menu. But everything we ordered was delicious and good in portion size.

The beauty of Kerala Backwaters can really be seen at Niraamaya. From the beautiful sunsets to the nightly cultural shows, I felt such a great level of comfort. The staff was amazing! They are the real stars of my vacation.

It was a fantastic stay..... esp. Chef A*** took a perfect care of my family.... one should surely visit this resort, peaceful with beauty...... Entire services were amazing starting from check in, room was clean, they arranged a bharatanatyam dance in the evening, then a perfect dinner in a restro, morning spa, delicious breakfast and lastly the bon voyage cake..... Worth spending money.......

The pool area was very disappointing. The water was like a hot bath and not pleasant. The bottom of the pool was rough and abrasive, In the afternoon there was no shade around the pool except 4 small old parasols which were little help. Positives were the friendly staff. They put on sports activities for children at 5.30 which our children loved. There was also traditional dancing at 7pm for half an hour which was lovely although held in a very hot reception area with no fans. The food was excellent with a good menu which clearly listed all allergens. The chef came round at mealtimes to talk to all the guests.

The service was excellent. One of my friends had her birthday during our stay. The staff went out of their way to bring a cake and participated in wishing her a happy birthday. Special thanks to Shiyas,Ansal,Justin,Soniya, and Sifa helped us to organize the sightseeing and shikkara boat which was an experience of a lifetime… Evening Yoga by the Yoga master Atul was a relaxing experience with the backdrop of sunset on lawn Area.Will definitely recommend to our friends

NIRAAMAYA is one of the 5 star Resort in Kumarakom. It is situated on a wonderful location adjoining lake vembanad. The staff is admirably helpful especially front office ***ager Mr.Piyush and his entire team Ajay,sifa, amal, Sandheep & jestin. Breakfast buffet is very good. The service team shiyas and goutham is so helpful. And the evening activities like feeding is so funny and the goose is so cute. Sunset watch is must in the boat jetty is so relaxing. evening cultural dance programme make me so excited!!!

We stayed in Niraamaya with family for three nights and we booked her two bedroom villa. The villa was quite spacious and peaceful and it has a back water view which was quite soothing and view of sunset from our villa. Bathrooms were the biggest that I have ever seen. Food was amazing. Very f tasty and fresh. Had the best palak paneer ever .all of us took massages in wellness Spa and was one of the best massages that I’ve had quite good. . Spa was also quite the highlights of our l stay but only drawback would be not enough activities or things to do outside the resort and Spa always always booked so better to plan and book your slots in advance , we would visit again in colder weather though. He was quite hot outside.

Had an amazing experience at Niraamya Retreats. We had taken the package where it was 2 days in Kumarakom and 2 days in Kovalam with Niraamaya (all inclusive). Right from the airport pickup to the end of our journey, we were very well taken care of. All the staff members are extremely helpful and friendly. The room size was really good- very spacious. Great view. One thing to be aware of is that since there is so much greenery, there are creepy crawlies around. That is something you just have to get used to if you want to be in nature. Since there are limited rooms, the staff is really able to personalize the experience for guests. By the second day, they already knew our food preferences etc. The food was outstanding (especially the local dishes). Enjoyed the spa experience too. It was very relaxing and the whole atmosphere created was very zen. Would definitely go back.

That day was a memorable day with you guys , really amazing sceneries and well co ordinates . Great service and resort staff really awesome . I did not use the spa services but the dinner and the breakfast was really nice. Very happy to be a part of this
