Happy Village Kundasang

The service provided by the staff was excellent. They were polite, friendly, and hardworking throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, with the fried mee hoon being a highlight. The room was very clean and well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. Above all, the stunning breakfast view of Mount Kinabalu truly made the experience unforgettable.

Staff are friendly & helpful. Location of hotel is a bit hard to get in and out to town bcos of the condition of the road. For about 600 metres, it is bumpy, winding & slopish road. Nice view of MT Kinabalu from hotel. Toilet only has a bottle of 2 in 1; so advisable to bring own shampoo & body wash.

The road to the place is a little shaky but all worth it for the excellent view. In the morning got to see the whole mount KK in front of us, really amazing view. The people hosting were super nice and friendly, they have a restaurant and small mart at the reception area, even a water dispenser. There were 2 rooms with big bed and another with bunk beds that can fit 4. You can also ask for Wifi router and Mahjong to rent. Overall good experience, would visit again!

I recently stayed at Happy Village Kundasang. While the place has potential and the surroundings are pleasant, I was quite disappointed with some aspects of the accommodation. Firstly, the room did not have air-conditioning. During my stay, the weather was unusually hot — around 32°C during the day and not much cooler at night — so it was quite uncomfortable without proper ventilation. I believe adding air-conditioning would greatly improve the comfort of future guests, especially during warmer periods. Secondly, only one pillow was provided per guest, and unfortunately, the pillows were too soft and not very supportive. When I requested extra pillows, I was informed there would be an additional charge. I feel that, at the very least, basic comfort items like extra pillows should be made available without extra cost. I hope the management will consider these suggestions seriously, as they could significantly enhance the guest experience. Thank you

Booked this place for family of 10. The room spacious enough to accommodate 10pax with good amenities. Customer service responded to my request to add on extra mattress promptly. Overall, its a great stay at Kundasang for big family.
