Our bed had a strong cigarette smell upon check-in. We informed the reception, but when we returned later in the day, the smell was still present, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. After waiting, we were told by another staff member that the shuttle was actually going to the airport, not the train station. Unfortunately, this miscommunication caused us to miss our train. I chose this hotel for a one-night stay in Kunming after landing. The room was clean and tidy, and even though it's near the airport, there was no noise. They also offer an airport pick-up service. A special thanks to the front desk lady! Five days later, on the morning of January 1st, I returned to Kunming and needed to store my luggage temporarily. She actively helped me with my bags and stored them securely. She also noticed I needed to remove my makeup and kindly showed me where I could easily do so. I'm very grateful to this warm-hearted young lady! Plus, there's a gas station right outside, which is convenient if you're driving a rental car.
