Exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel. The cleanliness was impressive, and the bathroom had no strange odors. The location is its biggest advantage, just a ten-minute walk to Nanping Street. The staff were friendly, and I felt completely at ease leaving my luggage with them. The facilities are simple but sufficient; I had no trouble getting a good night's sleep.

I stayed at City Comfort Inn Shuncheng Street for a short transit before heading to the airport and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located within walking distance to Shuncheng Mosque, Shuncheng Mall, and Nanping Street, making it a very convenient spot for travelers. For Muslim travelers, this area is especially ideal — it’s easy to find halal food nearby, and the neighborhood is surrounded by plenty of shopping areas and main attractions. The streets are lively both day and night, so there’s always something to see or do. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities needed for a short stay. The price was reasonable, and I appreciated that the hotel offered short-hour rentals (4 hours), which was perfect for my transit schedule. Overall, City Comfort Inn Shuncheng Street is a great option for budget and transit travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and easy access to local attractions and halal dining.

For dining, the hotel is perfectly situated right above University Town's BBQ street and very close to the 7th District Night Market, making it ideal for exploring the local area. There's also a large shopping mall just a 100-meter walk from the hotel. Although it's a bit dated, the restaurants there offer fantastic value for money. Additionally, you can find several Yunnan specialty stores to browse nearby. A pharmacy is conveniently located right next to the hotel. What truly stood out was the hotel's pick-up/drop-off service; both the front desk staff and the hotel driver were incredibly patient.

The hotel environment was decent, and its location in Guandu District was convenient. The absolute highlight was the airport pickup service; we arrived at the airport at 11 o'clock, and the hotel had a car ready for us, which was incredibly convenient. The front desk service was also very good. However, the cleanliness needs improvement; specifically, there was noticeable grime in a hidden spot right under the faucet handle that hadn't been properly cleaned. I hope they address this. Other than that, everything else was great, so I'm giving it 5 stars.

The room was clean, but there was a strong smell of cigarettes as soon as you entered. It was a bit small, and there was no parking lot, so you had to pay for parking across the street. Breakfast was included. However, the biggest advantage of this hotel is that it is very close to all the major attractions in Kunming's old city. You can just ride a shared taxi and explore.

The lobby has a simple yet grand design, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. Check-in, extensions, and check-out procedures were all handled efficiently and quickly. The room was clean and tidy, with complete and well-maintained facilities. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, the bathroom fixtures provided a great experience, and the breakfast selection was very rich. The front desk and service staff always had a smile on their faces and actively offered help. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

The room I was assigned was close to the road, which was too noisy. I was used to not being able to sleep well when there was a little noise, so I didn't sleep well. The environment was good, the facilities were all new, and it was warm, which was good. I just needed to tell the customer service once not to be close to the road.

Hotel location is good to find, opposite the door is the parking lot, underground, parking spaces are many, the front desk service is very good, the hotel interior layout is unified and clean, the breakfast is very rich, it feels great.
