Halal food: We found many halal spots nearby. There is a whole street of Halal food carts as well, if you want to try some street food - its the best place to go. There are many restaurants and a grocery shop as well having halal food. Just walk around the shopping center and you will see these places on the outskirts. Cleanliness: Excellent, the room is cleaned every day once we leave the room for the day’s activities. If you don’t want anyone to go in, you can just place the Do not Disturb sign on the door handle. View: We were provided a quiet room with an okay view on the 12th floor. Room 1207 and it was a city view, facing the Nike shop nearby. Location: The best and most convenient location. Its very close to Shuncheng Shopping Center and the Plaza. Its in a great location to roam around Nanping Street and right next to a chinese gate (great for photos). We saved a lot on transport because everything was nearby and 5-10 minute walk. Hotel service: The front desk staff are very polite and patient enough for us to communicate via translator app. The only thing is they don’t help to arrange any type of tours, transport or excursions. If this was included (even with the relevant additional charges), it would have made the stay more pleasant and hassle-free for us. Overall, it was an amazing stay, worth recommending and we will be booking again here!

The location is absolutely superb! Right outside, you're on the bustling Nanping Pedestrian Street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Downstairs, you'll find everything from convenience stores and bubble tea shops to unique local snack stalls. Coming back from the night market in the evening, with my hands full of local treats like flower cakes and dried mushrooms, I was absolutely beaming with happiness! The delivery robot is super cute; it delivers takeout right to your door, even late at night, which really adds to the sense of security. The room was very clean and well-equipped. The receptionist recommended trying the snacks on Kunming Old Street, and they were excellent!

Our stay at this Hanting Hotel was truly wonderful! The hotel is conveniently located, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for commuting. There are also a wealth of dining and shopping options nearby. The lobby is clean and tidy, the front desk service is friendly and efficient, and check-in and check-out are both quick and easy. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept very well. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained. The breakfast was extensive, combining Chinese and Western cuisine, and was delicious. The overall environment was quiet and comfortable, and the value for money made it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Kunming!

This hotel was chosen for both landing in Kunming and returning. There is basically nothing wrong with it. The only drawback is that the room is a little small, but it is OK for 2 people. After all, the houses in this old city are built like this. The breakfast is very satisfactory. I also ate in 5-star hotels during the trip. We had no plans to travel to Kunming, but because the flight from Shangri-La was cancelled, we hurriedly booked this Hanting Hotel. We arrived at the hotel with our hiking partners.
