Nostalgia S Hotel(Kunming Dongfeng Square )

The hotel's founder is likely a woman, as the level of thoughtful service here is something I've never encountered before. The housekeeping staff will help fold your clothes, tidy up your scattered belongings, and even organize your chargers. What's truly astonishing is that they'll even take your clothes to be washed and deliver them back to your room. Anyone who's stayed in a hotel knows how difficult it can be to get laundry done. Here, you can enjoy your time out, knowing your clothes will be washed and dried. There are snacks, water, and some drinks in the room. The front desk also has many little gadgets (I forgot to take pictures). Breakfast was quite good, and the front desk offers late-night snacks. Even deliveries are brought to your room by a robot. The hotel's location is very close to the city center, and the soundproofing is excellent. I'm a very light sleeper and wasn't disturbed at all at night! I saw a couple come back late at night with takeout and ask the front desk for bowls. It was bedtime, and I'm not sure where they expected to find bowls, as breakfast ends at 10 AM. The late-night snacks at the front desk are served with disposable small bowls and cups. If you're high-maintenance, don't stay here; you'll only exhaust this kind of thoughtful service.

Everything was perfect! The room had almost everything you could ask for, including face towels by the sink that were replenished as soon as they were half-used, which was a thoughtful touch! The bed was neatly made, and even my pajamas were folded. They also provided makeup remover wipes. The front desk staff always greeted me, and I even received a gift upon check-in. Plus, there's free late-night snack and afternoon tea, which is so considerate! The hotel's location is also convenient. I'd definitely want to stay here again next time I'm in Kunming! My only wish is that the garden balcony rooms had twin beds!

They should really let guests know about the late-night snacks and afternoon tea. There was no heads-up, so the place was completely empty.

This was our last stop in Yunnan, Kunming, and we wanted to visit Cuihu Lake first thing in the morning, so we booked this hotel. The location is excellent! The front desk upgraded us to a garden terrace room. The environment is lovely, very clean, and great for photos. The bedding was comfortable, it was very quiet, and we had a wonderful night's sleep. Five-star rating!

The hotel service was excellent and very thoughtful. The room came with complimentary snacks and drinks. We stayed for two nights, and my child really enjoyed the snacks, so much so that they even gave us two extra packs on the second day. The facial towels and mouthwash were a pleasant surprise. From 9 PM to 11 PM, there was also free congee available. After eating many snacks on the pedestrian street, coming back to the hotel for some congee was both heartwarming and comforting for the stomach, truly great.

The hotel is small but exquisite, with everything you could possibly need. They even prepare snacks according to guests' preferences, which shows how much thought and care they put into their service. Looking forward to my next stay!

Extremely satisfied with my stay. The service was thoughtful and heartwarming, down to the smallest details. I don't usually leave reviews, but I absolutely have to give a good one this time. First off, the warm cup of water offered right when I checked in was a lovely detail. Staff members greeted me cheerfully in the hallways. The breakfast was also very generous. As for the room's details, the pictures speak for themselves. Wishing you continued success, and I'll definitely be staying here again next time! ♥️

Great overall value for money. There's parking available in the back, and the rooms are clean with a well-thought-out layout. The staff are professional and attentive, showing a high standard of hotel management. Definitely a recommended stay.

When I was in Yunnan, I stayed at this hotel every time I was in Kunming. It's quite clean, and the staff are all incredibly friendly; they always greet you when you pass by. The breakfast is also pretty good with a wide variety of options. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, about 700-800 meters, but I usually take a taxi anyway when I'm out sightseeing. I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. It's on a main street, so if it gets a bit noisy at night, just close the window and it's quiet. Overall, it's a very peaceful place.
