FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON Kunming Dongfeng Square

The last hotel on our trip! **Location:** We took taxis to and from the hotel, so I didn't experience the subway, but it seems to be about 800m away. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. There's a laundry room on the 2nd floor, and they even have a dedicated bar area. **Facilities:** I have to commend them on this. They have screen mirroring, which is something I really value because it greatly expands your entertainment options. The moment you open the door, it feels very high-end, with a separate toilet and shower. The view from the window wasn't great; just a Walmart across the street. The in-room air conditioning was easy to operate, with simple cold/heat switching. **Service:** Excellent! Several times, services were delivered by robots. The front desk staff were also very attentive. **Cleanliness:** I have to praise the cleanliness; it looked exceptionally good. **Amenities:** There's a free pool table on the 1st floor; just ask the front desk to get started!

Extremely disappointed with the reservation team (I won't name names) and the front desk; they're completely incompetent. Everything I discussed beforehand on WeChat was ignored, as if it never happened. When checking in, the front desk staff were clueless and only seemed interested in getting good reviews.

The hotel is very clean, and the staff, especially Mila, was incredibly accommodating and had a great service attitude. The location is also convenient for visiting various attractions. I'll definitely be staying here again!

Before coming here, I compared many five-star hotels. The negative reviews were all over the place – some complained about questionable hygiene or outdated facilities, while others mentioned sharing a building with other businesses, which made me really hesitant. Then, by chance, I discovered this newly opened hotel and booked it right away. I thought the location might be mediocre, but upon arrival, I found it to be impeccable. It's right on Huancheng East Road, within walking distance of the Donghua Farmers Market, and very convenient for getting to Cuihu Lake and the old town. The subway is a bit further, but it doesn't hinder getting around at all. The entire building is exclusively for the hotel, complete with its own courtyard and greenery, and the facilities are excellent. Among the many new hotels of its kind in the city center, this one truly stands out and is definitely worth choosing.

Over the past year, it feels like Four Points by Sheraton hotels have really popped up everywhere. This particular one is right in the city center, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. The breakfast quality is excellent, maintaining Marriott's consistent standards. Overall, a great experience.

The room was a good size, clean, and more than enough for two people. It was also very quiet at night, and the location was great with cafes and food options nearby. Plus, there's a self-service laundry room and free bottled water in the mini-fridge. Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Kunming, Dongfeng Square, and it was a perfect experience! The location is superb, right in the heart of the Dongfeng Square commercial area, within walking distance of the subway, Nanping Street, and Spring City 66 (Henglong Plaza), making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. We unexpectedly needed an extra room, and the front desk staff was incredibly quick to respond. They handled the request efficiently and thoughtfully, showing no perfunctoriness at all. Their service attitude was a definite plus. The hotel facilities are very new, the room was clean and spacious, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The hot water in the bathroom was plentiful, and the toiletries were of high quality. The public areas were tidy and elegant, and the breakfast selection was rich. During breakfast, I accidentally broke a plate. I expected to feel a bit awkward, but to my surprise, the staff showed no blame whatsoever and immediately asked if I had been cut. It's the little details that show true care; such considerate and warm service truly makes for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming. Highly recommend!

The environment and hygiene were great, and the service was good too. However, being on a lower floor near the street, it was a bit noisy. The phone in my room wasn't working, so I couldn't reach the front desk except by my cell phone, and there was a constant pipe noise which disturbed my sleep. But they moved me to a higher floor room the next day, which was much better. The breakfast was also good.
