FourPoints by Sheraton Kunming City Centre Hotel

Our independent trip to Yunnan concluded in Kunming, our final stop. We chose the Four Points by Sheraton Kunming, City Center because it's right next to Kunming's old town, placing us in the most vibrant part of downtown. Adjacent to it is the upscale Shuncheng Shopping Mall, and the Wuyi Road Station (Exit B) of Metro Line 3 is just 200 meters away. We stayed on the 28th floor, offering fantastic views of the Jinma Biji Archway, both day and night. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering advice on transportation and tourist attractions from a local's perspective. I really appreciate their assistance. The room was very clean, with a wide selection of live TV channels. The bathroom had modern shower facilities, and the bed and other amenities were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. A short 10-minute walk takes you to the 'Paper-Thin Buildings' in Kunming's old town (such as Duiyue Tower and Jiubei Tower, built to commemorate the 1946 victory in the Anti-Japanese War), which are quite lively in the evening. Nearby, you can also find the former residence of Mr. Nie Er (born in Kunming, he passed away at 23). The pedestrian area boasts many excellent restaurants, coffee shops, tea houses, and bars, making it easy to find good food and enjoy some leisure time.

Service: The hotel staff's service attitude was excellent. Since it's in the city center, parking time is limited, but the staff came to my car to help with my luggage. The front desk was very enthusiastic and quickly arranged our room. The biggest highlight of this hotel is its warmth; every staff member I encountered greeted me with a smile and a 'Good morning' or 'Hello.' This is something you rarely see in other hotels. Environment: Located in the city center, it's very close to the old street and surrounded by many great food options, making it incredibly convenient. The night market is brightly lit and very beautiful. For anyone visiting Kunming, this is the best place to stay.

The service was attentive, and the room on a high floor offered great views. The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for both dining and getting around. You can walk downstairs and easily reach any shopping mall or old street you want to visit, everything is really close by.

Having stayed at other Sheraton hotels in different cities, I've always had a positive impression of the brand. This time, I chose the 4-star Sheraton in Kunming, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a stone's throw away from Nanping Night Market, Kunming Old Street, and Jinma Biji Archway. My room was quiet, comfortable, clean, and tidy. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, and the staff were polite and friendly. Upon check-in, the front desk even upgraded my room to a higher floor, as I prefer. Highly recommended!

It's not easy to find a new five-star hotel in such a bustling downtown area. Although the rooms are a bit on the smaller side and there's no underground parking, the hotel is brand new, the facilities are great, and the location is absolutely unbeatable. You step right out onto a pedestrian street, and snack streets and large shopping malls are all right there, haha. The staff were all very attentive. The only downside is that I didn't get to try the hotel breakfast during my two-night stay, haha, my friends kept dragging me out for Crossing the Bridge Noodles instead!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel thoughtfully arranged a late check-out for us and even upgraded our room, making our stay even more comfortable. They also safely stored numerous packages for us, which was a huge relief. The service was meticulous and attentive, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time, highly recommended!
