Liberty Hotel at Kunming Railway Station North Square & Huancheng South Rd Metro Station

The hotel is close to Kunming Station. The facilities are very new, with a swimming pool on the 6th floor and a kids' play area on the ground floor. It was a very pleasant stay. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. There are drinks available in the lobby.

The facilities and environment are excellent. Being a newly opened hotel, the experience was fantastic. Breakfast was rich and offered a wide variety of choices. I'd definitely come back again!

The room was quite new, and for this price, I think the amenities were excellent. The rooftop pool was also very photogenic. The complimentary breakfast was decent, with rice noodles, fruit, fried rice, and yogurt – enough to fill you up, though the coffee was indeed instant. They also offered a free afternoon tea and a drop-off service to Kunming Station, which was super convenient for catching the high-speed train, allowing us to rest a bit before heading off.

The room was pretty good, with a very natural, fresh, and comfortable log-style decor. Facilities: The facilities were excellent, with a laundry room, gym, and a mint-colored swimming pool that's perfect for photos. Service: Absolutely wonderful, I'll definitely come back next time.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the high-speed train station, and surrounded by plenty of great food options. The hotel's overall decor is very modern, and while the rooms are small, they are fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast is also quite extensive, featuring local rice noodles and freshly baked flower pastries. The complimentary Mercedes-Benz pickup service adds a luxurious touch – highly recommended!

The location is great and the hotel is new, but the soundproofing is absolutely terrible! It felt like the floors were very thin. We could hear everything from upstairs, next door, and across the hall – people walking, talking, opening and closing doors, and even showering. It was all incredibly loud. When the door across the hall opened or closed, our own room door would even shake. I wore earplugs and was still woken up countless times.

The room was clean and close to the subway station. It's conveniently located near Kunming Station, making it easy to get anywhere. The front desk service was attentive and enthusiastic. They also offer a shuttle service to the station, and the driver was very steady.

First off, it's quite a distance from Kunming Station, not just the 600-meter-plus the navigation showed; it's probably closer to 1 kilometer. We arrived close to 3 PM, and the room still wasn't ready 🤣. The room was small and a bit cramped to move around, though the bathroom was quite spacious. Breakfast was just okay, with instant coffee. Overall, the value for money was low, and I wouldn't recommend it.
