Zhongwei Green Lake Hotel

The room was spacious with a window, and being on the 14th floor, the view was fantastic. You needed to use your card to operate the elevator, which made me feel very secure. Right opposite the hotel is Cuihu Park, which is free to enter, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The hotel is located in the city center. To the right of the hotel is Huangdong Street, a vibrant area, especially when the jacaranda trees are in bloom, with many small cafes for visitors to relax in. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with high-quality offerings. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was also excellent; the dishes tasted great, the prices were reasonable, offering great value for money. I had all three meals at the hotel every day, which was clean and hygienic, with beautiful views of Cuihu Park from the window! This hotel is quite popular, and rooms book up quickly. I booked a week in advance and couldn't even extend my stay for an extra night. If you get a city view room, you can catch the sunrise. The most sought-after rooms are the lake view ones, which overlook Cuihu Park and offer stunning sunset views. If you want one, make sure to book well in advance! This hotel definitely deserves a 100/100 score!

This hotel is just across the street from Cuihu Lake, making it incredibly convenient for a stroll around the lake or a city walk through the surrounding alleys. Although it's 70 years old, it's well-maintained and doesn't feel dated at all. The pool is fantastic, I'd even describe it as sparkling clean. Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was the best I had on this entire Yunnan trip. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. My only minor suggestion would be for the concierge to be a bit more proactive; I didn't see anyone when I arrived or left. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

The room is already small, and they've put in an oversized TV cabinet, which takes up a huge amount of space! The decor has an old-fashioned feel, and the facilities are a bit dated. Most guests are 35+, so it's not really a family-friendly hotel; I wouldn't recommend it if you're traveling with kids. The service attitude is good. I bought breakfast vouchers online, which made it quite a good deal, but the breakfast itself was nothing special, just average. There's no self-service laundry room, and the air conditioning is noisy. The absolute advantage is that Cuihu Park is right across the street, the surrounding environment is elegant, peaceful, and comfortable, and several cultural attractions are nearby, making the location extremely convenient.

An older hotel with decent service. The rooms are a bit dated and feel cramped, not very spacious. Cleanliness could be improved. The breakfast was good, and room service was excellent, but the front desk service was just so-so.

This is an older hotel, and while it shows its age, it's very well-maintained and doesn't feel as old as I expected. The cleanliness is also excellent. The only minor issue is the bathtub in the bathroom, which makes showering a bit inconvenient. The complimentary afternoon dessert was a nice touch. The location is also fantastic, and you can even see Cuihu Lake from the room.

This is definitely an older hotel, and the facilities are quite dated. The room couldn't withstand close inspection; given it was a busy May Day holiday, I suspect the housekeeping couldn't keep up. After checking in, I noticed a very clear yellow stain on the rim of a cup… The breakfast was decent and of good quality, but the dining area was too small, requiring queuing during peak hours. The front desk service was good, very welcoming, and they even gave a small gift upon check-in. The location is truly excellent; right outside is Cuihu Park, and it's very convenient to walk to the old town.

This is a well-established five-star hotel with an excellent location. Cuihu Lake is right outside, and the popular Huang Gongdong Street is next door. You can easily walk to famous attractions like Yunnan University, Kunming Old Street, and the Yunnan Military Academy. There are plenty of delicious food options and charming coffee shops nearby, making transportation very convenient. The hotel's service is thoughtful and meticulous, and the staff are warm and friendly. They provide complimentary fresh fruit, snacks, and desserts daily, making it especially suitable for families with children!

The room isn't huge, but it surprisingly has two double beds (1.4m wide), which is perfect for a family of four. The breakfast spread is very generous, and it's great that children under 1.5m eat for free. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. There are lots of attractions nearby, all within walking distance, and plenty of fantastic food options too, with many famous restaurants within a 500-meter radius. They even sent flowers and a cake for my birthday, which was a really touching gesture!

Great location, attentive service... I especially recommend the Chinese restaurant; the food is consistently good and delicious. Pre-sleep drink: The red dates and peach gum drink was very light.
