Kai Wah Plaza Hotel

The hotel is very close to the high-speed train station. It's an old, established five-star hotel, and my family found it quite comfortable. Even an aging Ferrari is still a Ferrari, after all. Plus, it has a swimming pool.

The hotel's decor isn't modern; it has a traditional American style. The bathroom mirror and wall sconces reminded me of a home I once lived in, which had a similar design, so it felt very nostalgic. Although the room's facilities show their age, you can tell they've been meticulously cared for and well-maintained by the hotel staff. The cleanliness is spot-on, and the hotel service is very attentive, friendly, and polite. I recommend the connecting rooms for families; they offer plenty of space while still providing a good degree of privacy. The location is excellent. Just a short walk from the hotel, you can find authentic 'xiaoguo mixian' (small-pot rice noodles) and local barbecue. You can easily reach many wild mushroom hotpot restaurants by scooter. It was really enjoyable taking the kids around to experience the cityscape of Kunming.

The hygiene was absolutely appalling. On our first day, we found a large, dried urine stain on the toilet seat. The cleaning and disinfection standards are just terrible.

Transiting through Kunming, I was looking for a hotel near Kunming Railway Station, and choosing this established five-star was a smart move. The room was spacious and well-equipped; I didn't find the facilities outdated at all. Dining options nearby were also very convenient. The hotel's pool is on the seventh floor, accessed via a spiral staircase, and it was quite clean.

My friend's go-to hotel for business trips, very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, especially the bedding which was incredibly comfortable. It was also very quiet with excellent soundproofing. Clearly a well-managed hotel. I highly, highly recommend staying at Jia Hua.

The view is unbeatable, and it's a comfortable stay at this classic hotel. The front desk even upgraded my room. The service was excellent, really fantastic!

This is my second stay at the Goodview Hotel, and I'm once again impressed by their service and attention to detail. The location is incredibly convenient, whether you're driving or taking the subway, flying or arriving by high-speed rail. **Facilities:** The environment is elegant and clean, and the bedding quality is excellent. All facilities are well-maintained, and the hotel lobby is beautiful and perfect for photos. **Service:** The front desk staff are professional and meticulous. Check-in and check-out are handled quickly and efficiently, and any requests are promptly addressed. **Room:** The suite's window view has always been my favorite reason for choosing Goodview. You can see the distant skyline and a panoramic view of Kunming city – a wonderful experience without even leaving the room. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay here. It's incredibly close to all the attractions, the old town, city center, and the train station. Getting a taxi to the airport was also very convenient. The bed was super comfortable and the views were fantastic. Both the room and the bed were excellent. It's a great choice for anyone visiting Kunming.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and my experience was absolutely fantastic. The location is great, near Kunming Station, and very close to MixC and Spring City 66, so the surrounding amenities are super convenient. The service was top-notch, and staying on a high floor allowed for amazing night views. The best part, though, was the incredibly comfortable swimming pool. I highly recommend it to everyone!
