Sofitel Hotels in Kunming

As a local in Kunming, I occasionally enjoy a hotel staycation to relax. This time, I booked a deluxe suite which came with executive lounge access. This included breakfast, afternoon tea, and even a light French dinner in the evening, so all our dining needs were conveniently met at the hotel. Unfortunately, we had a minor issue with our room during this stay: no hot water! We reported it to the duty manager, Amy, who responded incredibly promptly. An engineer arrived quickly to resolve the problem. Amy even sent up a complimentary bottle of white wine, which really helped to smooth over the initial inconvenience. While a hotel approaching its tenth anniversary might naturally show some signs of age in its facilities, the exceptional service here more than compensates for any minor shortcomings.
