The hotel is in the beautiful area and is super convenient. The place is clean. The room for 2 people is OK. The bed is comfortable enough. There is a bath in the hotel. The breakfast is rich and there are many kinds of food. The staff in the lobby were very hospitable and helped us take a taxi to eat out. The hotel garden scenery was so relaxing. As soon as you go out, you will find food, shopping and a boat to ride in a beautiful place. The photos are excellent. I will definitely stay here again next time.

The hotel building is very unique, the room is really small, of course, if the budget is sufficient, there are large rooms to choose from. The hotel provides a full range of toiletries, with a full range of varieties and OK quality, which can be picked up freely at the front desk lobby. It costs 1,000 yen to take a taxi from Kurashiki JR Station to the hotel. Next to the hotel is the Bikan District, where the Ohara Museum of Art, restaurants, and various small shops are close at hand. It is recommended that the hotel breakfast is 2,040 yen per person. When you check in, the front desk will give you a coupon, which can be discounted by 10%. The restaurants in the Bikan District open late, close early, and have more rest. The coffee shops outside for breakfast are ordinary. A cup of coffee and toast also costs 1,300 yen. It is better to eat in the hotel, or self-service.

The hotel was renovated from an old textile factory in Kurashiki. It is very beautiful, as if returning to the nostalgic atmosphere of the Taisho era. Almost all of the guests are local Japanese tourists. There is an antique German music box in the corridor. You can enjoy a famous Schubert piece by inserting a coin of 500 yen. The guest rooms are newly decorated, and the bathroom is a Japanese-style dry and wet separation design. In addition, the hotel also has a public bathing area for guests to use and paid laundry and drying equipment. The breakfast is good and rich. I also tried the dinner at the hotel's own "Tsuta" restaurant. The price is reasonable, the taste is good, and the service is enthusiastic. The transportation location is convenient, and you can walk to various attractions in Kurashiki. I like this quiet town very much, which is suitable for a few days of daze.

The hotel was renovated from a cotton textile factory. It was built in 1889, closed in 1945, and converted into a hotel in 1974. Now the hotel has complete facilities, but the special temperament is far better than ordinary business hotels. The main entrance, courtyard, and corridor of the hotel are very spectacular and beautiful. There is also a piano for tourists to play for free in the corridor. It is a wonderful experience to hear several people playing when walking by. The hotel is located in the Bikan District, and it is very convenient to go out from the west gate of the hotel. The disadvantage is that it is a little far from the JR station, and there are few buses. If you miss one, you have to wait for half an hour. You can also walk here, and the scenery along the way is good. It is best to include breakfast when booking a hotel. There are not so many food around too early or too late. If it is after 5 pm, you can go to the nearby shopping street, where the izakaya starts to open. If you visit the Bikan District, including the Ohara Museum of Art and the Ivy Hotel, you can go back and forth in one day. But it is highly recommended to stay one night this time, sit in the beautiful courtyard, and look at the koi, turtles and the sky. Especially seeing the poster, there will be a buffet in the courtyard on summer evenings (including many kinds of wine), which should be a very good experience.

This is my second time staying at Ivy Square, having stayed here two years ago. Unlike last time, this time the room key was a card key, so I was able to go out without any worries after checking in. The historic building has been renovated and is clean and easy to use. The room was an economy twin with no bathtub, only a shower room, but it was very comfortable. It may be a little small for two people. I didn't use the large public bath or dining room, but I only stayed overnight, so I would definitely like to try the other facilities next time. The staff were also kind, thank you very much.

When I booked, I only knew that it was a renovated textile factory. After arriving at the hotel, I learned more about the origin of the hotel. It still has a sense of history and is very photogenic. Most people who come to Kurashiki stay in Okayama, but Kurashiki is actually worth staying for a few more days.

The hotel was renovated from a large old factory. It is in an excellent location next to Kurashiki's beautiful area. The hotel itself is already a tourist attraction. In the morning, the staff are very service-oriented and take care of themselves. The parking lot is right next to the hotel.
