Our stay at the mwezi boutique resort was a unique experience. From the typical location, pools and great food create a perfect mix for either families or a group of friends looking for adventure on the island Note of credit goes to the knowledgeable, efficient and super nice staff A smile makes a good day I highly recommend the stay Thanks Billy, again

What an ideal place to relax after a safari ! The lodges are spread in a lush vegetation and we can walk everywhere barefoot on sandy tracks. The staff is very helpful , efficient and friendly always doing their best to satisfy their customers. Very good food et efficient massages There is a direct access to a beautiful beach or you can swim in a dream swimming-pool . We enjoyed every minute of our stay ! Thank you very much to all of you for making our holiday unforgetable !

Just perfect place, relaxed, nice decor and very welcoming staff. Breakfast included every morning, nice restaurant with very good and healthy food, nice location on the beach, you can organize any outings from the hotel. Loved the music on site, relaxed and not too loosy.

I was staying at the La Luna Suites part of the resort. The suite is beautiful and well cleaned. You can order a lot of different food and drink to cook for yourself to a reasonable price. I really appreciate the complementary drinkingwater in the glassbottle which you can refill to reduce plastic. (And that you support the beach clean up!) The whole resort is biult beautiful and there are a lot of fruittrees like banana, papaya, coconut, which spend a lot of shade. The 2 pools are huge and clean. There is plenty of space around and always enough sunbeds for everyone. The whole resort is well organized and you feel like in a 4-5star resort. A special thank you goes out to Jackline, who remembered my name from our first conversation and made me feel really welcome and at home here. And to Cathrine, a trainee at housekeeping who kept my room clean and was always really friendly to me. I hope you‘ll get the chance to learn beeing a barkeeper one day. I wish you all the best!

Mwezi Resort was my recent happy place, and let me tell you, it's got some serious cool vibes. The bungalows? Think African chic – stylish and comfy. The whole joint? Super clean and well-kept, giving off good vibes from every corner. Now, the food game at Mwezi is on point. They've got this rad restaurant with poolside and à la carte menus. Salads, pasta, local goodies, and the freshest seafood – you name it, they've got it. The tartare? Mind-blowing. And let's not forget the awesome crew. The staff at Mwezi are like your buddies, always ready to make your stay epic. Smiles, good vibes, and they know their stuff. In a nutshell, Mwezi Resort is the place to be for that African escape with flair. Bungalows, food, and staff – it's a solid 5 stars from me.

We had a very relaxing stay. The room was clean and tidy and the staff very welcoming. Grounds were immaculate. The service at the pool bar from Paul, khamis and Emanual was outstanding. Breakfast was perfect and the Swahili night was an entertaining evening. Hope to return. Thanks again!

If you like quiet seclusion, tasteless food and hard mattresses, then this is your place. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is clean.. The setup is charming but even if the hotel is fully booked, there are hardly anyone around..

Fantastic staff. Beautiful hotel. Lovely beach with warm sea and white sands - right beside hotel so we could enjoy a sunrise swim every day before breakfast. The food was great but menu didn’t vary much from day to day. Breakfast was basic but fine. Great internet. Our room (moon bungalow) was a little bit disappointing because it was small, with no windows but perfectly comfortable with a lovely private beach garden at the front. The room did not have a mini-bar or tea& coffee making facilities which meant it was necessary to buy all drinks (which were fairly expensive). The resort was quite far from the airport and a difficult drive due to very poor roads on the island. The island itself is not for the faint-hearted due to extreme poverty, run down buildings and sone litter but interesting to see. We booked one excursion (on TripAdvisor) which was overpriced but saw dolphins as snorkelled in a beautiful coral reef. Anyway. Over all I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to friends if they happen to be in Zanzibar.

Wow, the stay was simple indescribably beautiful. The complex is really beautifully laid out and is well maintained by the gardeners, the rooms are in good condition and clean, everthing worked perfectly. Food gets 10 out of 10 from me. Special praise goes to Emanuel and Khamis who work in service: Very friendly and attentive, quick and always open to questions when choosing dishes. Very attentive at the Pool regarding orders. Everyone was really warm, but especially These two. The stay was 100% indescribable
