Rustic and dreamy feel. Roger who runs the resort is very friendly and helpful. Miriam was also very nice. All staff were very friendly. Great pool (3 depths). Great restaurant area with sofas and daybeds with mosquito nets. Really great food, deserts and juices. Super calm beach area (nobody bothers you to purchase anything). Bungalows are very private, with their own porche with sofa and coffee table. Beds are extra large and with a very spacious mosquito net. AC is available (but we did not need it). Hot water shower is great. Straw hats, beach tote bag and locally made robes are available in the room for us to use during our stay. :)

Such a fantastic place, the surroundings are beautiful and the atmosphere so peaceful. This is the perfect spot to relax and feel far away from busy everyday life. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The bungalows were clean and very nicely decorated. We loved the local basket and sun hat provided in the rooms and high quality shampoo and soaps from Inaya Zanzibar. The food was great and we miss so much the delicious fresh juices and fantastic breakfasts! The swimming pool and pool area is lovely. We also loved the private beach and ocean swimming during high tide. The beach is peaceful, clean and has stunning views. We definitely wish to come back to this wonderful and idyllic place :)

This beautiful place Will make you feel relaxed and has everything you need for vacation. The staff is service minded and friendly. The food is tasty and Well cooked - even a gluten free diet is possible here. Tours were well arranged from here. The Beach and pool is Nice. The family bungalow is very clean with Great beds. Do not hesitate to book your stay at this paradise.

This really is a wonderful place everything you need to relax. Small place, just 12 rooms, perfectly formed! Superb outlook, great bungalow accommodation, fabulous team of well trained locals led by one of the coolest and most efficient guys I have come across. Roger the Rasta is on it and you wouldn't even know it. Great choice of food and reasonably priced. Plenty of varieties of drinks and if you want something specific for your stay Roger and his team will oblige. Nothing seems too much. My daughters had a number of spa treatments as did some of the other guests who were there and all came back glowing. There were some low key, very entertaining events put on that got all guests hooked. Would definitely like to return soon!

Had such a super chilled week at Ujamaa, Roger and his team have it just right. Sammy looked after us in the restaurant and Martin was a whizz at the bar. It's a great spot right on the beach, no hawkers trying to sell you things, just friendly locals from the village. It's a small hotel - dozen or so bungalows - the grounds are kept immaculately, as are the rooms. Loved swimming in the sea at high tide and the pool and surrounds fab.

The details , everything was what I wanted . The owner , the staff everyone were so friendly. The food was amazing. The vibes and the music was.on point . I am definitely coming back. This time for a longer while . I love it 💕

What an amazing place! Ok it's a long drive from Ferry but more then worth the journey. It is a beautiful spot right on the beach. The beach bungalows are so lovely..decor perfect. They have thought of absolutely everything. ... sun hats, bags, massage area, great pool, swings, hammocks, seating areas under lovely palms. It's so peaceful and chilled. My children loved it. My toddler loved the play house; she kept going to 'my house' and spent ages just pottering around so we could relax whilst keeping an eye on her. The food was delicious. We will definitely recommend to others and go back ourselves.

This place is amazing. It’s so peaceful. If you are looking for a good place for relaxing and slow living, this is the perfect place. The pool area is very nice and beautiful, with palm trees and a beautiful ocean view. The bungalows are really nice, clean and really African style. The restaurant is good, a lot of fresh local fruit and food. The drinks are good, specially the cocktails, juices and smoothies. And not to forget, they serve the best coffee I ever tried. The staff - they are so kind and helpful. They make us and the place to feel like home. The hospitality is on a very high level. One last thing to say, it will not be our last time at Ujamaa Beach Resort. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will never forget this place.

Wir waren Mitte Dezember an diesem Traumhaften Ort, wir sind noch nie so schnell "herunter" gekommen wie an diesem wunderschönen Ort. Alles passt, die Zimmer, das Essen, das Personal, der Strand den wir alleine hatten. Großes Lob an das immer freundliche und aufmerksame Personal und die hervorragende Küche. Die Kombination aus afrikanischem und italienischem Flair, macht die Anlage zu einem fast magischen Ort. Ein guter Espresso nach dem Essen darf nicht fehlen. Wir waren vor sieben Jahren schon einmal hier, und das Resort ist immer noch in einem hervorragenden Zustand und super gepflegt.
