This is a great hotel in Shahdag Ski Resort. The hotel facilities are fully 5-star and the hotel service is also very good! It includes an indoor heated swimming pool, Russian and Turkish saunas. The environment of the hotel restaurant is superb! We stayed in a mountain view balcony room, which is highly recommended! The first snow just happened to fall on the day of check-in!

I have been staying in this hotel for ywars while coming to Shahdag Ski resort. Actually, I stay here this year already for the 5th time and would like to share some thoughts, maybe some thing will change because there is a NEED for a change. Hotel needs some maintenance in rooms already. Sometimes the furniture with damages. The hygienic shower has only hot (very hot water) so its a russian rulette whether you have a burn in your bottom or not. Today couldnt use my coffee machine because coffee capsules do not fit into it, they are too big. Also, being the Mariott bonvoy member I always been greeted with some fruits in the room. It is still the practice but the portion is obviously mich smaller..which is not good. The Aspen restaurant is no more OK consodering the price-quality. Became much expensive, but lowered the quality of food (e.g steak is "so so") and so is the service I'll still be staying here but hope something changes in a better way, considering also that the price tag increased comparing to previous years for around 30-40%

Stayed there just one night and don’t have any complaints about this property. It won’t be light on your pocket but will not make you feel Robbed at all. Excellent Service, Quality of Rooms, Amazing Breakfast(with a lot of vegetarian options as well), Swimming pool with complimentary Spa, very polite and helpful staff always on their tows for you. Overall a very nice experience in a place like Shahdag. Big Thumbs Up.

We had a great stay at the Park Chalet. We came for 4 days skiing in February. Check in was easy. Breakfast was good. The hotel is ideally situated for the slopes. The Shahdag resort is a great set up for beginners. The spa was a nice touch after being out in the cold all day.

I had the pleasure of receiving massages from Siska Yulista during my stay at the spa resort, and I can't recommend her enough. Her skill in Balinese massage is unparalleled, providing not just relaxation but true healing. I've explored massages across 30 countries, yet Siska’s expertise stands out. If you're visiting this resort, do yourself a favor and book a session with her. Truly transformative! Additionally, I must highlight my ski instructor, Süret, whom I've known for over five years. His professionalism and expertise on the slopes are unmatched. His guidance and instruction have significantly improved my skiing skills, and he ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all his students. Süret is highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their skiing abilities! I love this 2 so much 🥰

The hotel should get 5 star because of the absolutely awesome location on the foothills of the Shahdag Mountain range. The rooms are amazing as expected from an Autograph collection from Marriot. The views from the rooms on either side (one side of the frozen lake and another of the mountain range). I am a Marriot Gold Elite member and booked a room with balcony. There was no option to choose which side to opt for. Many might want to be on the mountain range side. The service levels is an issue with staff not being adequately trained when the hotel is at full capacity. There were several deficiencies which I pointed out and the property tried to rectify. However as a Marriot establishment and being a premium hotel, such things shouldn't happen. However, I would certainly recommend Park Chalet to anyone thinking of visiting the Shahdag mountains, probably the most beautiful part of Azerbaijan.

Superb .. went on to stay at the resort for Christmas with friends . It’s a ski resort in Shahdag Azerbaijan . The property is simply amazing whether it’s there service or the rooms . We have a taken a room with Plaza view though we’re allotted a Mountain View room . But it was fine the rooms were still very nice and were giving a sunrise view .

I highly recommend this beautiful hotel as a guest. I stayed this hotel 2 years ago but this time they change everything. Staff are very nice and very responsible. The receptionist Svetlana and Tural was very nice and also I got Balinese massage with Yulista who is the best in the world. She make me very very happy after ski. My all body become very relaxed, she is very professional and very polite. I highly recommend her massage you all. And also I like their breakfast, a lot of options and fresh products! I love it

Was an amazing experience the receptionist made us feel welcomed forgot his name starts with an E. Got us an amazing room as well. The staff at Aspen Restaurant was amazing helping with my birthday experience and the great hospitality and food. The guys at Aspen bar was also amazing with their great cocktails. Highly Recoomend this hotel with the rooms especially with the balconys

Aspen Grill Visit 1 Steak was half cooked - one half cooked, other half raw and cold. Waiter missing to rectify, then disinterested. Visit 2 Forgot one persons main, finally brought it after dessert. Ribeye steak cooked well but bad quality meat. No apology for missing persons main. We meet with the management to discuss issues assured they will be rectified. Visit 3 Improved but left drinks at side of table so we had to serve ourselves. Baked potato arrived with unidentifiable meat in it. Told meat was pork. Later told meat was not pork. Baked potato had no warning on the menu there was any meat in it at all. Visit 4 Excellent food. But we’re informed baked potato has pork which cannot be removed. After not ordering it we’re advised it is not pork. They truly are clueless. Visit 5 Assured there would be a vegan dish available for our friend. Upon arrival waiter unable to assist and suggests pasta with mushrooms or salad. We order dips, a salad starter and a steak tartare starter. Pasta main and three steak mains and a burger as well as some side dishes. Asked for cold water, it arrives room temperature. Food arrives in the following order: - Dips - Salad and pasta - Steak tartare - Vegetable sides and burger - Steaks which are blue/rare and room temperature in the middle (ordered medium rare) Upon complaining about the steak we are told the middle is temperate. They are not medium rare as ordered but this is not acknowledged. They agree to recook one steak which results in it being cooked properly but tough meat. The others are not replaced. No excuse for the order the dishes arrive in and having cold side dishes with the delayed mains. Or having to eat a starter with the main course. Head chef advises us after we have all eaten he had a dish prepared for our vegan friend, waiter completely oblivious. I ask for the bill. It is finally provided after 45 minutes and asking THREE times and they have the audacity to CHARGE for two badly cooked uneaten and very expensive steaks. Absolutely livid. They have a few excellent chefs and waiting staff. The rest are completely untrained, I don’t think they even know what a restaurant looks like and they have no place in any kind of customer service whatsoever. If you are lucky you can have an excellent meal but most of the time you will have endless issues with no ability or desire to rectify them. Such a shame the place has potential but is staffed by completely incompetent, argumentative and ineffective staff. DO NOT TOUCH THIS PLACE.
