Sensan’s signature “Iron Bowl Shojin Cuisine” is beautifully presented in a bowl shaped like a traditional begging bowl used by monks. Each dish features seasonal ingredients, reflecting the spirit of Zen and the refined traditions of Kyoto cuisine in a modern context.

Highly recommended for getting authentic and unique experience of staying at the Japanese house. Great location, near to Shoji Dori, a huge shopping street, a short bus ride to Gion and metro station allowing to get to all historical attractions.
The home is really nice, with all necessary amenities, clean and roomy.
Want to specifically mention its interior decorations, really awesome.
Tourist tip: print out your reservation with the home’s address in Japanese to avoid any difficulties with finding your way to the location, you show it to the taxi drivers and they will find the place.
