Nice hotel and very well positioned! The receptionists are always happy to help you and generally they always speak English!
PS. They also sell the fragrance you can smell in the hotel, this is very nice!!

Fantastic hotel. Great location, super helpful employees (who called a bike rental place for us), and good lobby with tea and coffee. There is no breakfast available, but we ususally got breakfast at a convenience store and ate it in the lobby. I would book here again.

No window in my room so it was dark throughout my stay, no opportunity to change the room. No bath tub, very strong smell as soon as you walk into hotel - at first I thought it was a bad room fragrance but think it was detergent as washing machines were near the front

We really like the atmsohere of the hotel. The staff recommended the opposite noodle shop, it was amazingly good. From hotel, we can easily walk to a number of tourist attractions in the early morning to avoid the big crowd, or commute by bus or subway. Two days experience was wonderful in Kyoto.
