Nice room with great balcony, excellent location for shopping and sightseeing

One of the best hotels we have stayed in ever! Absolutely stunning design of hotel from Outside to in, layout, attention to detail, all made from natural materials. Location was great, less than 10 min taxi to Kyoto Station, handy for the rainy days we had and heavy suitcases too! There’s even a shop downstairs selling their own brands, unfortunately we didn’t have the time to check it out, but from trying their teas in the room provided, I can tell their products are great! Staff were polite and very helpful. We were even upgraded to a room with a balcony! What a treat. Will absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Room was quite big. Honestly it was quite hard to find a hotel that supported 3 in a room. One of the biggest hotel during my stay in Japan. Loved the service but note they don’t provide things like combs and toothbrushes as they’re trying to be environmentally friendly. Great location.

This was my first trip to Kyoto and there are many options for hotels. I was having trouble deciding exactly where but Good Nature turned out to be an excellent choice because: 1. It's right downtown - a few minutes walk to two subway stops - you'll use the subway to get to good attractions like Inari, Nara, Kiyomizu 2. you are also within walking distance to Pontocho, Gion, Nishiki markets 3. There were 3 of us so we had 3 individual beds - in a standard room and despite this being 28m2 the layout of the room is very good. Of course, if you want the deluxe room it's much bigger but it will cost a lot more 4. Managed to score a trip.com 36% discount (for 5 nights) which was a no-brainer (we just got the room only) - pay for buffet breakfast if you must (plenty of Starbucks around if that's your thing) - I did book the first night separately direct through the hotel website though as the trip.com offer didn't extend for 6 nights 5. The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and explained everything. 6. Buffet breakfast was a good selection of Western and Asian choices. The restaurant was very clean. The prosciutto was amazing!

LOCATIONS VERY WELL, FACILITIES NEW, ROOMS CLEAN, STAFF IS NICE AND KIND. LOCATED IN GOOD NATURE STATION, TAXI DRIVERS MAY KNOW THE PLACE WELL,TAXI STAND OUTSIDE THE HOTEL, GOOD TO TRAVEL. RESTAURANTS NEARBY ARE COOL. ONLY POINT THATS STRANGE IS ESCALATORS ALWAYS STOP AT FLOOR 4 NO MATTER YOU ARE GOING DOWN OR UP. BEST HOTEL I TRAVELED EVER IN KYOTO.

Hotel is located just near the train station and situated near the malls. The room is clean is spacious. Really love how the toilet and shower area is separated! My family enjoyed our stay there.

Hotel is placed at a very optimal location. Above a metro station, near many shopping centers, Nintendo store and many shopping streets with great food options. Also has its own supermarket on ground floor. Very well thought hotel.

Good location and a really nice hotel. Not on the JR line but still easy to get to and close to good locations

This was a wonderful hotel in a great location! So close to everything and at the same time is not overwhelmed with tourists. The loved the Kacto breakfast place nearby, and definitely recommend Arabica coffee. Thanks for having us!
