This hotel is located right across the road from Kyoto Station, making it incredibly convenient for transportation, dining, and shopping. The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the standard amenities. Nothing extraordinary, but perfectly adequate. The breakfast buffet offered a wider variety of options compared to other hotels I've stayed at. I'd definitely recommend it.

The location is excellent, right in front of the station. Overall it's good, though the room is a bit small, but I guess that's common for hotels in Japan.

The location is excellent, right opposite Kyoto Station, very close to the airport bus stop, and also near Aeon Mall. There's a 7-Eleven supermarket just down the street. Check-in is self-service on a machine, which can be switched to Chinese, and staff are on hand to assist. You pay for the accommodation on-site. The lobby offers self-service coffee, tea bags, toothbrushes, and more. There's also a microwave, with chopsticks, spoons, forks, etc., conveniently located next to it – very well-equipped. The family room size is good, and the facilities are complete. The only downside is that it gets very dry in the winter, and the humidifier isn't adjustable. Overall, it's still very good. Highly recommended!

It is located right opposite Kyoto Station (closer to the Kintetsu Kyoto side). You can walk between the station and hotel within 5 minutes. It is very convenient. Do note that the hotel is located on the south of the station (basically on the opposite side of Kyoto Tower) . So you need to exit through the Hachijo Exits and cross the road, instead of the more commonly used Central Exit. The hotel room itself is not big, but sufficiently convenient, the charging point is right beside your bed. There is a co-working space on the first floor, with charging ports and WiFi access. So it is a good spot if you need to carry out some short online meetings.

I had a great stay at Hotel Keihan Kyoto Hachijoguchi. The location is very convenient, just right in front of station. The room was clean, comfortable, and well organized. A nice surprise was the Refa hair dryer in the room, which was a lovely touch.

A very clean and nice hotel near Kyoto station. Good as a base to explore Kyoto.

The room is slightly smaller than the Keihan Hotel in Osaka, and the decor is a bit older. The bathroom and toilet are in one unit, without a separate wet and dry area, but the amenities are the same, still featuring Refa hair dryers and shower heads. Breakfast is Japanese-style, with udon noodles, curry rice, and grilled fish. I prefer it to the Western breakfast in Osaka. The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Kyoto Station South Exit and very close to the airport bus stop. However, there was heavy snow on the day of my departure, and the buses were canceled.

I've stayed at a few Keihan Group hotels, and they've all been great, but this Kyoto Station South hotel is particularly excellent. The Chinese-speaking front desk staff provided fantastic service during check-in, making me feel truly at home. I also got lucky this time; I arrived at 12 PM and was able to check in early. The daily breakfast is also incredible value for money; 1980 yen on its own isn't expensive at all, and it's an absolute steal when bundled with the room. The 11 AM check-out time is very reasonable, and the luggage storage facilities are excellent, making you feel very secure. However, the self-service lockers fill up quickly, so you often have to leave your bags with the staff. All the amenities are thoughtful and convenient. The only minor drawback is that the expensive hairdryer is too large, taking up space and being awkward to use in the small bathroom. In the afternoons, you can also enjoy complimentary coffee and drinks at the restaurant. The location is unbeatable; it's right across the street from Hachijo Exit, making shopping, dining, and public transport incredibly convenient. The bus to Kansai Airport is also nearby, which is much more comfortable than taking the train. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Kyoto.

The location is great, right across the street from Kyoto Station, which is very convenient. However, the room was too small for three people. We couldn't even open our suitcases, and there was no space to put our belongings. The bathroom was tiny, and they had a huge hairdryer, which was a poor design choice. The so-called 'automatic checkout' wasn't truly automatic; a staff member still had to process it, and it wasn't even late at night, making it quite unnecessary. One positive is the 11 AM checkout, as most other places have a 10 AM checkout.

The location is great, right outside Kyoto Station's Hachijo East Exit. The hotel is newly renovated, so everything feels fresh and new. The soundproofing is also good; I wasn't bothered by the railway across the street. Breakfast was decent, nothing special. However, the service was quite average. Firstly, I really dislike the electronic check-in system. It prevents you from interacting with the front desk staff to potentially negotiate for extra benefits. Secondly, during the breakfast buffet, they were incredibly slow at refilling dishes. It took over 20 minutes to replenish the chicken nuggets and curry after they ran out, which is baffling. Was the kitchen staff eating before cooking? So, I can only give the service a 3-star rating, no more.

This is a chain hotel, right across from Kyoto Station, which makes getting around super convenient, especially with the bus stop nearby. The room was clean, but incredibly small. There was no space for luggage, and it really only fit one person comfortably. For two people, it would be a nightmare. Given it was peak autumn (maple leaf season), the price was also quite steep, over 1000 RMB.

Location is good .. just across the road from JR Kyoto station. There is a Aeon mall nearby. Room is clean, breakfast is good. Enquired front desk to call my next hotel in kinosaki onsen about transport. Next day the lady replied me with a note. So sweet!
