Loved the stay there even though the location is a little far. Clean and spacious.

Although it is a bit far from Kawaramachi, it is quiet and the facilities are satisfactory.
There was no cleaning service for consecutive nights.
Towels, etc. can be exchanged(?) if you bring them to the front desk after use.

I usually have to travel out of town when I go to Kyoto. It is difficult to provide much assistance when the on-site manpower is available. The room is really good, but the service is not available from 8am to 14pm. It is not ok. I was told to arrive before 10pm when checking in. It is not easy to get a ride in Kyoto. It’s quite annoying to have to go shopping and have to check in when you can’t eat at almost 8pm!

Neighborhood hotel. Small and quaint. NOT the resiv stay kyoto but a5 minute walk from busses and subway. Easy to get around is you don't want to use cabs. Neat neighborhood.
