This hotel is located a bit of a walk away from the main shopping area (15-20 mins) but it is just a minute walk away from the metro (Marutamachi station, exit 6) Yeh hotel itself is very new and service is excellent. Front desk speak very good English and are very helpful. The rooms are not very clean but acceptable. I found that the carpet had a lot of hair but other than that, all was good. It’s the sort of hotel that does not clean the room everyday but they can change towels daily. Room has a sofa bed.

We stayed as a family of 3 and it was a really nice hotel. The facility was very clean and tidy and this was the best. Also, it was right in front of the subway station, so it was very convenient to get around! Next time I go to Kyoto, I want to make a reservation at Monday Hotel again.
