The ham in the executive lounge is delicious. When you go out of the hotel, turn left and walk for a while to Kiyomizudera Temple. Seeing the traffic jam and the crowds, we still took it easy and made a reservation for our stay. I experienced a private soup and needed to make a reservation in advance. But it rained heavily on the day of check-out and the temperature was very low. The check-in time for the next hotel was at 4 pm. We communicated with the hotel and asked for a late check-out but they didn’t agree. We had to go to Takashimaya to hang out.

It has 4 floors and not many rooms. This time I came to Kyoto relatively temporarily. It happened to be the Japanese New Year holiday. I couldn't book the same room type for consecutive stays, so I stayed in two rooms, the Pagoda View Supreme Twin Bed and the Supreme Corner Twin Bed. The service and view of the food are good. The location is right at Kiyomizudera Temple, which is very convenient. Children like it.

The hotel was converted from a school. The location is excellent. It takes 4 minutes to walk uphill to Kiyomizudera Temple and 10 minutes to walk downhill to Yasaka Shrine. When you get up early in the morning, you can go to the deserted Kiyomizudera Temple and Nianninzanzaka and you can go back to the hotel for breakfast after checking in. Choose one of four breakfast staples and the rest are set meals. For dinner, it is recommended to reserve 30 minutes. There are not many rooms in the hotel, but the service is good. When you check in, you will be greeted by front desk staff and taken to your room, and they will introduce the layout of the hotel environment along the way.

Compared to Japanese hotels, the room is large enough and very private. It was evening when we arrived on the first day, so we went to the hotel's outdoor restaurant to have dinner. I won't describe how delicious it was. The hotel's breakfast is a set menu, not a buffet. The service is quite attentive. In fact, you can tell just by looking at the pictures, it looks good, tastes good and is filling. If you have a choice, I recommend choosing a room on the second or third floor so the view will be better. If you want to travel, turn left after leaving the hotel and walk a short distance up a hill to reach Kiyomizudera Temple. This is probably because there are many tourists on Christmas and New Year's Day, and there are temples and attractions around, so it is very convenient.

The room is very unique and very close to the scenic spot. You can go to Kiyomizudera Temple early in the morning. It is especially recommended by Dawa. The hotel toiletries are also attentive. The Nature Bisse is very good. The minibar is also free. Afternoon tea is also very Kyoto, with matcha 🍵 and Japanese snacks. We arrived just in time for afternoon tea, and the scenery was beautiful, especially the bar. Unfortunately, we couldn't go in with children, so we could only take pictures at the door.
