Hotel was very pleasant to stay at nice staff and onsen is included. However tattoos are not allowed so make sure you hide them with bandages (cultural reasons).

As is common for Japan, the rooms are quite compact, but this hotel boasts excellent facilities. They provide Pola brand toiletries, and everything felt spotlessly clean. The public bath was also immaculately maintained. The staff were professional and courteous. Its location is a major plus, offering a very convenient walk to Kyoto Station. While the price might be a bit higher, it's absolutely justifiable for the quality and convenience offered.

I've stayed at this hotel both times I've visited Kyoto. It's really close to Kyoto Station, which makes getting around super convenient, and it's very clean. They even have a hot spring, which is amazing after a long day of sightseeing. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

The location of the hotel was well located next to the Kyoto train station. The room was decent and clean. The Ibsen was very useful. There are many restaurants around the hotel area.

If you ever heard any stories of Japanese rules and stress this is your place to stay, it didn’t feel like a holiday, even got scolded like a student and was “forced” to finish a meal within 10 mins! It was so ridiculous the whole situation, I had to remind the staffs that we were guests, never again and I can’t recommend this place to anybody! Nothing was like expected and it felt cheap… You have to pay for everything. The hours of the onsen aren’t good, the breakfast finishes too early. Doesn’t worth the price, the location seems near Kyoto Station but it’s not, you have to walk a lot! We needed to remind them of the welcome gift. Of all the visits to Japan, this is the worse hotel we ever stayed! Truly bad. We payed in advance and charged again and still waiting for my deposit… Which was promised to be returned after check out… The only good thing were the cafe’s cakes.

Impeccably clean and comfortable, offering a perfect onsen experience. The Japanese tatami room was surprisingly spacious, with a cleverly designed bathroom featuring a separate wet and dry area, giving it a modern feel. Its proximity to Kyoto Station makes it incredibly convenient.

The room is clean and tidy. Hot spring of the hotel is good. Special thanks to Mr. Akira Ban of front desk for his kindness and helpfulness!

It was just okay. The bedding in the entire room was damp, and I couldn't sleep the first night! After communicating with them, they changed the bedding, and it was much better. The hotel quality still needs improvement! The hot springs and transportation are very convenient.

Very close to Kyoto Station, so transportation is convenient. They offer a Japanese breakfast. The hotel facilities are quite old, but there's a small onsen. Overall, I'd say the only real advantage is the location.
