My wife and I spent three nights here in this charming wooden inn on the edge of the Ile D'Orleans just across the water from Quebec City. Even though it's pretty busy in the summer we never felt crowded. We rented a two bedroom apartment in a small building just to the side of the main block and appreciated the privacy. The place was spotless and the staff charming; the restaurant (see separate review) is wonderful. The only note of caution is that the floors creak, as we discovered when the family above us started to move around. It's a great place to sit and watch the sunset and explore the bucolic charms of the island. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to stop for lunch when touring the Island. During COVID you order at a kiosk near the patio entrance and then pick up your food before finding a table on a great patio. The food was very good and the views were great. Definately a great place to go if doing an island tour.

Last year we visited Quebec City, and stayed at the Frontenac. This year on our way to Prince Edward island we wanted to explore the Island in the river just north of Quebec. It was a treat to be warmly greeted and to have a room with a view of the river and of the city. We spent the afternoon touring the island and visiting the many wineries and shops before returning to the hotel for a wonderful meal and comfortable room. Staff was exceptional. Great way to unwind and start our vacation.

15-20 minutes outside of Quebec City, on the island of Orleans on the bridge at the turnoff at the Falls, you find Auberge la Goeliche. Driving through the white winter snow past the lit up village houses, it's beautiful and romantic. The hotel is very cute and well-run. It's clean and decorated with nice fixtures--definitely a relaxing spot.

Sightseeing around the island and came upon la Goeliche! Service was quick ... food was good! Waitress must have been new or just started! She only spoke broken English, but enough we could communicate ! Probably one of the best meals to be had on the island

The staff at the hotel were amazing. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We arrived late, the staff left clear instructions as we arrived. They were super organized and thoughtful. The bar was amazing, the bartender Mari was so much fun -she made our night! Before our first night at the hotel, we ordered breakfast boxes, everything in it was fine ingredients. The view was breathtaking! What more can I say than -it was a dream!

We have stayed in many hotels, B&B's, etc in our trips to Quebec City, and this place was one of our favorites. Very clean, helpful and accommodating staff, a nice restaurant, and some great views of the river. We saw several freighters and a couple of cruise ships quite close. Very comfy bed too.

We had a lovely room with a private deck on the ground floor. Our weather was not the greatest, but fortunately the two chairs in our room were comfy and we sat for hours watching the ships on the St. Lawence. Staff was extremely friendly. Already planning return trip.
