It was a fortress and now super luxury hotel. Very nice views and yard, amazing food and breakfast was really 5 star with their amazing chef Eugene. Rooms very cozy, big and well furnished. Stuff was very friendly and nice, you will have a feeling that you are traveling in the centuries.

Excellent hotel all-around. Staff very courteous. Hotel clean, quiet, excellent breakfast, easy on-site (and free) parking. It's a good 10 minute walk to the heart of the city, and it's all uphill on the way back to the hotel. Recommended.

While the hotel staff were friendly and the location excellent and room clean and good - the behaviour of the bar staff spoiled what would otherwise been a great stay.
Specifically, the bar staff cheated on the bill - increasing prices above what was on the menu - and providing drinks that were cheaper and different to what we ordered thinking we wouldn't notice.
When this was brought to their attention, the reaction was one where the manager admitted that they were cheating, showing no remorse or even apologizing - it leads me to believe that this was no accident or isolated case.
This is very disappointing as this is the first time we encounter such activity in a hotel of the quality that Citadel Inn is in Ukraine.
The bill was ultimately cancelled but its not about the money - its about the service quality and the disgusting feeling you get.

Отель не соответсвует никаким из перечисленных услуг, работники хамят, номера не убирают а также очень много насекомых в трудно-чистящих местах. Я считаю что такие отели должны иметь стоимость небольшого проездного по городу( около 60USD), свою цену отель никак не оправдал, остался недоволен

مكان راقي وفخم جدا عبارة عن قلعة قديمة تم تحويلها لهذا الفندق الفاخر اطلالة الغرفة كانت على المدينة منظر رائع لمشاهدتها من الاعلى موظفي الاستقبال خدومين جدا قائمة الافطار كانت متنوعة ولذيذة يوجد في الخارج كوفي هادي وجميل.. يستحق الزيارة والسكن فيه

К сожалению поздно узнала историю этого места. Это надругательство над памятью замученных людей. В здании, где находился концлагерь и погибли тысячи людей делать отель? Вы не люди… Как власти города такое позволяют? На официальном сайте отеля в разделе История вся информация обрывается до начала Второй Мировой войны, нет ничего о сороковых годах двадцатого века. Умалчивание. Введение клиентов в заблуждение. Надругательство над памятью замученных людей. Позор собственникам, властям города и страны…
