Posada Don Jaime is ideally situated in the historic centre of San Lorenzo within easy walking distance of the Monastery. The hotel is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with copies of famous paintings. Ignacio. the owner, is an exceptionally charming and helpful host, who speaks English fluently. He gave us excellent advice about where to eat and places to visit. He does everything he possibly can to make your visit to San Lorenzo memorable and enjoyable. This is the place to stay if you are visiting San Lorenzo.

Beautiful superior room, very comfortable bed and lovely shower. Excellent service from the owner who gave us lots of good advice, and let us leave the car parked in the garage until we finished our visit at the palace. We will definitely stay here again if we go back to this amazing place.

Lovely hotel with elegant Spanish historical portraits and Spain's glorious past abounds. The Spanish hospitality was appreciated in this traditional hotel which is somewhat like a B&B. Parking was possible with the help and much needed in this crowded town. Opted for breakfast served at nine, OJ, toast, jam and coffee. This is great value for a visit to El Escorial, especially given its proximity.

Desde que entras en el hotel tienes la sensación de estar en una casa muy acogedora y familiar. Las habitaciones muy limpias y ordenadas. Solo hay que tener en cuenta que están en los pisos de arriba y no tienen ascensor. Por lo demás todo perfecto aunque las habitaciones no tiene televisión. Cuenta con plaza de garaje. Por último decir que el dueño es muy atento y amable. Te indica en planos los lugares aconsejables para desayunar, comer y visitar. Un alojamiento al que se puede volver con toda confianza.

Accueil très courtois dans cet hotel ancien. Chambres très correctes, propres, rien à dire. Pas de restauration sur place, mais dans les 5 min de marche, vous trouverez tout ce que vous voulez, du bar au restaurant haut de gamme. Endroit tout indiqué pour faire étape dans cette petite ville.

Hostal muy bonito, el dueño es muy atento. Te informa muy bien de lugares donde poder ir a comer/cenar, así como de lugares para ver. Recordar que hay escaleras para llegar a la habitación. Tiene plaza de garaje, aunque si vas con coche grande es un justita. La habitación abuhardillada muy bonita, limpia, cama cómoda, las almohadas (para nosotros) excesivamente fina, pero eso es cuestión de gustos. El aire acondicionado muy bueno. El baño muy limpio. Bañera con chorros de hidromasaje. NO hay televisor (que aunque nosotros no la necesitamos, si que está bien que lo recordeis). Está muy, muy cerca del monasterio. El pueblo está casi todo en cuesta y el hostal está en una de ellas.

El año pasado por estas fechas también estuvimos y hemos repetido. Un lugar acogedor' el dueño encantador' y te explica los sitios de interés y lugares donde poder desayunar o comer.Muy centrico. Muy recomendable.
