This lodge reminded me of a villa in Tuscany. Beautiful scenery and tons of birds. The staff were welcoming, the room clean and the dinner was a delicious treat! There is no air conditioning but the temp was comfortable, I would have liked to leave the sliding glass door open at night but there was no screen. The grounds have beautiful plants and are very well maintained.

Guayabo Lodge was amazing

The gardens were well kept and the birding prospect was to a different level… spectacular,

The property is beautiful with well kept gardens and plenty of beautiful birds. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The view is spectacular. The shower was excellent, good pressure and hot water.

The hotel is great , beautiful view of the mountains and valleys. Lobby is very nice set up and the design is pretty

We wanted to spend a couple quiet days/night together at the end of our vacation. The Guayabo Lodge was perfect. Such a beautiful part of the country with very comfortable climate. We would highly recommend.

Visited with Road Scholar tour group. This is an amazing place. Quaint yet with most amenities. No air conditioning but I did not feel the need. Very accommodating. WiFi available. Food is great. Loved the cheese. Hiking trails are good. Views are spectacular.

beautiful area with a gorgeous view. I enjoyed the gardens and bird watching all around. The owner is very hospitable, as is the staff. We had dinner at the hotel one evening and the beef was outstanding.

I arrived after hours due to a delayed flight and the staff waited for me to arrive. I can’t thank them enough. Great location, amazing views - would stay again thank you
